Detailed Reviews
I stayed in a room with one bed. Even if someone else was with me we would have had enough space in the room. There was one chair in the room. It would be nice to have a second chair in case two people were staying there. The breakfast was very basic and could use some improvement. The bed was very comfortable. The shower and sink had terrific water pressure and heated up quickly. The property is clean and well maintained. I interacted only with two staff at the front desk when I checked in and out. They were professional, helpful and friendly.

Our room was clean. This was done with a more critical eye because our room had an upholstered chair that at one time, might have looked decent. This was so worn with fabric blackened with use, no one wanted to touch it. The beds were comfortable enough and the linens, not of the highest quality but were clean as was the bathroom. The flooring appeared to be fairly new with light gray colored LTV flooring, much better than carpeting! The room door however surely would not pass a fire inspection. It ended at least 4-6 inches from the floor, allowing quite a bit of light in from the hallway along with anything else. The room did include a coffee maker, a refrigerator and a microwave. When we departed in the morning, we were kindly offered a bagged breakfast. The reception staff was very nice, efficient and helpful and Covid safety measures were being followed by the guests and staff. We paid $129.86 in total with an AAA or AARP discount, I can't recall which one we used. This lodging works for a quick sleep after a long drive but it is a hotel/motel in need of a bit more professional interior attention and updating.

Check-in was very quick and easy and very polite staff. Room was very cleaned, and the staff cleaned it every day. Continental breakfast was hot and fresh with plenty of food put out. Always huge pot of fresh coffee in the lobby. Easy excess from 95 and other roads. The only issue I had was the bottom floor and my room had a bad musty smell like it had been flooded one time and the carpets needed to be replaced. For the price to stay is a really good deal.

Walked into the room and immediately noticed floors were sticky. There was a layer of dust on everything and red stains on the lap shades. The bathroom was dirty and the shower head was coming out of the wall. The microwave had food particles all splattered throughout. When asked for a different room upon opening the door a bed bug was spotted. We left immediately. This trip was booked through Expedia who reached out to get the refund. The manager denied my request. I sent a picture of the bed bug to Expedia. At that point the manager called and refunded the money but said “the bug was just a bug not a bed bug.” The employee who was the one that showed us the room said “I know we have cockroaches but didn’t know we had bed bugs.” Would NOT recommend.

This Hotel was extremely appalling. From the moment we entered the hotel we were overwhelmed by the smell of reefer/marijuana from the bar & grill. The front desk staff talked on her cell phone on speaker the entire time she serviced us. The room smelled of wet dog, the sheets and furniture were stained. The heaters filter was disgustingly dirty and their was mold coming out of the electrical socket. When we went to get breakfast at 7am there wasn’t any set up. When we returned at 7:15am per staff suggestion, there were brown bags set up at the front desk with cereal, apple and coffee cake. There was milk & oj in a bowl with ice. We were only scheduled for a one night stay to attend a conference only 10 minutes away. And the inconvenience of trying to get a room else where was to much at 10:30pm. This was our first and last time staying at the Ramada and we will not be recommending anyone we know to stay at this location. And I will be requesting a refund for this stay.

There is a modern bar in just off of the lobby that was playing very loud music - we asked for a room away from the lobby. Upon checking into our room, it was dim, due to lamps missing bulbs and the floor was sticky. Upon pulling back the covers, there was hair and bloodspots. I alerted the front desk and she showed us 3 more rooms, all of which had filthier sheets than the ones in our original room; pillows literally covered in brown/black substances, hair, and blood on the sheets. We had an early morning, and an hour after check in, asked for them to just change out the sheets in our room. They were brought up, she took the sheets off the bed and went to leave. I understand that the front desk is not housekeeping, but she had intended for us to to make up the beds with the new sheets. She was kind, but seemed very surprised at the dirtiness of the rooms - she agreed that we were not nit-picking, but at the very least we should have clean bed sheets. Upon checking out the following morning, we noticed that the front sign said "Housekeepers wanted." I did not see any bugs, but just beware, that your bed may very well be made up nicely, but have sheets that were already slept in...

We stayed here 1 night for a lacrosse tournament. I never checked the reviews prior to booking. Hotel is bare bones…nothing special. People seemed to be living there long term. Our room was very plain: just sheets and old blankets, tiny pillows, laminate floor, no hair dryer, tiny tv that only got one station (broken remote), and what seemed to be a prop phone. We attempted to use phone to call the desk for toothpaste and found that it was not connected to a line. This was basically a cool place to sleep one night & nothing more. Breakfast was a poor selection of pre-wrapped muffins, bad coffee, and a waffle maker. We won’t be back.

Dear Jilly, We apologize for the disappointment you experienced during your stay. It's unfortunate that the hotel did not meet your expectations and lacked essential amenities such as a hairdryer and a functional phone. We understand that these factors can greatly impact the overall comfort and convenience of your stay. Furthermore, we apologize for the limited breakfast options and the quality of the coffee provided. We appreciate your feedback and will review it with our team to make improvements where necessary. DO NOT STAY HERE! I had a reservation for 3 nights at this hotel. When I got there, my room was a bit dirty. The bathtub was grimy and gross and I did not feel comfortable showering in there. The hardwood floor in my room appeared clean but it was covered in hair which would stick to my socks and then get in my bed, I had to put a towel down next to my bed to keep hair out of it. The bedskirts were disgustingly and excessively stained. I don't want to think about how they can get stained that badly. However, I don't like to complain and I didn't feel that these things were enough to leave and get a more expensive hotel. The real problem was that night, I saw several cockroaches in my room, both big and small. It was the middle of the night and I didn't know what to do so I just waited a few hours to check out first thing in the morning. I told the woman at the front desk about my experience and she was very helpful and told me the manager was not there but she would give my information to him and he would reach out to me about a refund. I did not hear from him so I called later that day and he was still not there and again he will reach out to me. I never heard from anybody and simply got a refund that was $80 less than the amount I paid. I also have not gotten my $50 security deposit and it has been 10 business days (which is how long the paperwork said it could be). I am extremely dissatisfied with my stay and I had to pay more for a last-minute reservation at a different hotel and never even got a full refund.

Hello Rudolph,
I understand that the front desk agent broke the latch on the door to gain entry due to the door lock not working. There was no charge for the broken latch. The room you occupied (room 140) had to be placed out of order for several days due to the strong smoking odor. This room had to be stripped and deep cleaned to remove the smoking smell. When I reviewed the housekeeping reports for December 31, 2014, I also read that the Room Attendants found cigarettes in the trash bins and reported this to the Supervisors. The deep cleaning process to remove smoking odors from a guest room can take up to five days and does not always guarantee the complete removal of the smoke odor. The most minimum smell of smoke in a guestroom can deter a non smoker from occupying this room. In the case of a sold out night when we have no other room available this issue could cause the inconvenience of another guest having to relocate to another hotel. We place a bright red “no smoking” sign on the desk and in the bathroom of each guestroom. Upon arrival each guest must sign and acknowledge the “no smoking” policy on the registration card. The registration card states that a fee of up to $250 is charged for smoking in a guestroom. Unfortunately, due to the time and additional cost involved the $250 smoking fee is non refundable charge.
