What you will get is a pretty good location an excellent price nice personel and free parking. You will also get very small concrete block rooms, beds showing excessive wear and very strong smell of disinfectant. Also rooms are very small and a tiny bathroom

Clean, convenient and affordable. Rehoboth Beach does not offer many affordable lodging options close to the beach. I use to stay at the Sand Castle Motel that is now transitioning to a high-end hotel. The High Seas Motel met my expectations as a no-frills motel with clean sheets and a comfortable bed within walking distance to the beach and shops. Room was quiet and all rooms have chairs outside on balcony. Parking is also included on-site. If you want more than a 2-3 star experience this is not your motel. If you want plush towels, I'd suggest packing them. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a budget hotel experience at Rehoboth Beach.

We booked the High Seas Motel based upon reviews and it’s proximity to the beach and restaurants. We have been coming to Rehoboth Beach for over 20 years and love the town. We arrived early and the owner checked to see if a room was available. One was, but it was on the 3rd floor. We told her that we would wait for our 2nd floor room and she gave us a parking pass so that we were able to keep our car in the lot. Our king room was clean, the air conditioning worked, and the bed was very comfortable. This is an older motel that is in excellent condition. Obviously the owners take great pride in its upkeep. We highly recommend the High Seas Motel.

You can't beat the location...just 2 blocks from the beach and close to the main avenue. Basic accommodations at a decent price, but definitely no frills. We brought our own pillows. Wished we had brought our own towels too. The towels are small (literally child size), thread bare and very rough. On the bright side, you can dry off and exfoliate your skin at the same time!

If your looking for basic, clean accommodations, consider High Seas. Easy check in with a pleasant staff. Individual A/C units. Microwave and refrigerator. No pool. Bring your own towels (they’re pretty skimpy) and pillows (pretty flat).

What makes this place special is people who run it. I had never stayed in a motel before and didn’t know what to expect. Room has everything you need, tv, refrigerator microwave. Furniture and everything is old yet clean. But who cares if its old, we were there to spend night after beach that’s about it. Now about the people who run the motel. I dealt with three different people and always found them to be kind courteous and extremely accommodating . If they could help you with something they will and that’s what makes this place special. It seems like family run business and unlike big chains they do not have a lot of resources but they make best of what they have. I would highly recommend this place to stay. Support small businesses!

I know I stayed in the High Seas Motel a year ago but I felt I needed to write a review. My now husband (boyfriend at the time) wanted a beach vacation since we hadn't been to the beach in years. We booked a hotel and after looking at the location when we arrived realized it was a 40 minute drive. We were saddened and panicked and wondered what to do. This was when we found the High Seas Motel and called to reserve a room. Not only did the owner let us have a room she let us park in their parking lot early. The hotel was very simple. There were two beds, a refrigerator, sink, shower, and toilet, tv, and that was it. Exactly what we needed. We were a block from the beach. Once we were able to put stuff into our room we did just that and then went back to the beach. In the evening we felt very safe and our door was nicely able to lock. Upon checking out the next day the owner said we could leave our car parked in her lot if we wanted so we didn't need to buy a pass. Super sweet. This hotel is on budget, super friendly staff and simple. Exactly what two young adults on a budget wanted. I would definitely stay again and recommend the High Seas Motel to others.…

Location is the best feature of this motel. The additional benefit is that it is clean and quiet. For the price, it is well worth it. You can request a hair dryer or iron at the front desk. There is also an ice maker for loading up the cooler.

Likely the worst motel I have ever stayed in. Cinderblock murder box with filthy floors and rotting furniture. Incredibly uncomfortable beds and no deadbolts on the door, just a flimsy privacy lock like you'd expect on a bathroom. This place is right out of a horror movie.
