My bicycle club has a fall tradition where we ride our bikes from Newark, DE, to Rehoboth for the weekend and we've been doing this for about 40 years. We've been staying at the Pirate's Cove for most of those years, so it holds a special place in our hearts. Both Pat and Shelly have gone out of their way...

We stayed in #18, one of the bungalows and loved it. The bed and shower were slightly smaller than we would have preferred, but for also having a kitchen and couch you really can't beat the price. Every staff member we talked to were incredibly nice and helpful. We were within walking distance from several restaurants (I highly recommend Chesapeake...

We were really pleased with our stay at Pirate's Cove. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms had everything you could need. The only thing that we can comment on was the airconditioning was a bit loud. The location was great, a few minutes from the Tanger outlets and a few minutes from the beach. Overall we really...

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Other reviewers write about how small the rooms are, but our room (No. 10) had two double beds, a pullout and was a nice size for the three of us. The walk to the beach is a little long, especially on hot summer days, but we were able to drive and...

The location of the cove is just right if you want to be in between the tanger malls and the beach. Both are sort of equi-distant from here. Check in was the fastest i've ever seen. Clean, no bugs, hard bed, hard pillows, might want to take your own if you can't stand it. Very noisy unit A/C, use ear...

We only stayed at this hotel for one night, but I was struck by how very clean and quiet it was. It was a small room, but for $140 you couldn't beat the price. It had everything you would want or need: fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a nice clean bathroom. I would recommend the 2 person room for couples...

We do an overnight trip every year. We love visiting Rehoboth Beach and walking the boardwalk. We still visit Funland every year. Our room was small but clean, which is really all that matters. Staff was friendly. Each room had a parking spot right in front of the room. We tried Pirate's Cove this year because our previous hotel was...

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Pirate's Cove. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The rooms are tiny -- 2 people in a 2 person room is a bit claustrophobic -- and not very clean. Not filthy, but there's dust on the fixtures and the AC unit produced a pungent mildew smell when on. Overall, it wasn't terrible, but I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Pirates cove was in a great location, very cute. The staff was very sweet and accommodating. My husband and I really enjoyed the stay, the motel was within walking distance of anywhere you would want to go. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely kept. I would definitely stay here again.
