The water here is absolutely gorgeous. What you see in all of the pictures is absolutely true! Clear turquoise water at its most beautiful. The beaches here...disappointing. I have no idea how they were rated number one. There is hardly any beach and what there is is covered by sea grass. You need a shovel to clear a place to...

I feel like this park is over hyped. Booked months in advance, drove down from Ohio to experience dirty stinky beaches. maybe wrong time of year? (September) Dirty unkept bath houses, for costing has much as Disney campground we thought it would be a little cleaner...

So do a lot of people, so expect crowds during peak times. Also there is a fee to get in. There are so many small and more secluded beaches in the Keys this one might not be your first choice. What is great about Bahia Honda: there are two sides (Bay & Ocean), so there is usually a windy side...

To explain how much we love this place: we planned our wedding around getting to honeymoon at campsite 68. We have camped at Sandspur 5 weeks total and have weeks 6 through 8 already booked (anniversaries # 1 &2 will have been spent there). What wonderful things need to be said about camping here: waking up to sunrise on the...

Bahia Honda is one of my favorite parks! Have never stayed overnight here so can't comment on camping but I can imagine it would be very nice. Have been here in May and August. My favorite time is spring before the rains really start. The ocean is a glimmering beautiful jewel! The park has lots of activities to offer plus...

The Bahia Honda beach inside the park is absolutely brethtaking. The eater is clear and with nice temperature. You can kaike or snorkling in this quiet and beatiful water. You pay $4 dollar per 1 person or $9 per 2 people. I dont remember the price for family but it is not expensive. There are bbq places around the park...

First I have to commend the Park staff, some of the friendliest, helpful park staff ever! They are busy from first thing in the morning to early evening, greeting, cleaning, repairing, you name it and it seems they work in all areas of the park. We stayed in a fifth wheel for 8 days,my only wish was that we had...

The beaches seemed very lovely, and there were nice scenic trails, clean washrooms and friendly staff, BUT the campground had a crowded feel to it. Lots of people, lots of pets, lots of toys and vehicles packed on the sites. Not really my kind of camping.

Beautiful park. We stayed in the Bayside camping area. It was a very unique experience. TONS of Tarpon in the bay and even a daily visit from a friendly sea turtle. The site was nice and there is a basic restroom nearby. It was hot and buggy.... But we chose to tent camp in July. Snorkeling at the main beach...

We stayed 8 nights in cabin #3 & in 2012 cabin #1. This is an amazing vacation destination with or without a boat. So much to & see. Just south of the 7 mile bridge you have Big Pine Key to visit & Marathon. Just about a 45 minute drive to Key West. Cabins are clean & perfectly located on...
