This was our first visit to the keys and Bahia Honda was an excellent choice (although, based upon the reviews we have seen, I would avoid camping in the heat of the summer). Even late November we had temps in the mid to high 80's, which made it a little uncomfortable at night. The camp sites have either electricity or...

My title sums up my visit. Wonderful beaches (almost empty in the morning),superb nature, fastidious clean. Being able to walk on the old bridge and seeing the old train bridge from nearby added to my enjoyment.

Camping at Bahia Honda is in my top 3 in all of Florida. There are so many things that make this park special. Starting with old Henry Flagler Bridge, the deep water channel and the great swimming beach. It's just truly paradise!

Having been to the keys a few times I had not visited this location before. There is a small entry fee but it is well worth it. Once in there is lots to do with kayak and paddle board rentals. Low tide was at about 2 pm and it allowed us to walk a far ways out on the sand...

We really thought this was the best beach in the entire US. Beach is breath taking and very relaxing. We didn't go in the water as it was January and a very cool day. But we hiked around the park with the dog and walked on the trail on the north end of the park. Trail on the north end...

We have loved our 4 night stay here at the campgrounds! Be sure to book a year in advance or you'll have to wait for cancellations like we did. 3 different sights for a 4 night stay...and it was worth every penny! We saw a big manatee, small nurse shark, a large green iguana, lots of birds & fishes. Besides...

We stayed in a travel trailer - spot 12. Fantastic location, friendly staff, clean bathrooms...and the views and sunsets are indescribable! Not far from lots of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Marathon is 20 min north, and Big Pine key is 10 min south. Look for key deer on big pine.

I was surprised with a camping trip to the Keys. My first time in the Keys after living in SWFL for 10 years. Its been on my travel list for years. We got there later then planned due to car trouble. Staff was nice about checking in. Set up camp there were a few other families tent camping and all...
