3 of us spent the night between fishing days. Served the purpose well.wouldn't want to take the family but for 3 guys fishing it was great. Would use them again . Short walk to boat ramp and dock. Includes use of ramp and parking.

With our boat in tow, we arrived at 3pm to check-in. The front desk staff was very polite and friendly. Our cottage was just a short walk from the office and boat ramp. The cottage was clean and already cool (thanks to the staffer turning on the A/C ahead of our arrival) and had plenty of amenities than I originally...

I only stayed one night at the end of a week long kayak trip. The cottages were perfect for this and possibly for a longer stay. Spacious, everything worked, comfortable and clean. The only drawback is that it had a 1950's vibe but that was fun in a remote area as this.

Where do I start,it was all horrible,the1st day we got there at 3:00 p.m. We got unpacked, then it was dinner... We got back from dinner, and it was 7:00 p.m. We stayed up a little bit (it was not clean at all) we were going to bed, and we turned on the lights, and a bunch of huge ants are...

Before embarking on the ferry trip to Cayo Costa, we stayed at the Jug Creek Cabins. These definitely aren't modern- 70's furniture and interior, but they do have a full kitchen and wall unit a/c. Relatively comfortable beds too. Nice screen porch to sit in and have a beer. Not a place you'd stay for a long stay, but a...

We recently stayed at Jug Creek with our 7 yr old in cabin 5 and our friends with their kids in the cabin next door. First - you have to be in the right frame of mind to enjoy these cabins. We normally stay in resort properties but decided to try a more "rustic" weekend and bring our flats fishing...

We had a reservation for two nights at the Jug Creek Cottages. When we arrived, the office was locked. I left several messages and several hours later, someone met us at the office---only to find that the reservation was made but they had forgotten us. The cabin had not been cleaned from the previous guests. By this time, it was...

Cottages were okay, but did have some problems. Broken window latches, masking tape repairs in bathroom, very old and faded drapes and upholstery; window A/C only and bedroom A/C did not cool at all well; overall a very, very rustic property. Fine for fishermen, but don't think I would recommend as a vacation property for families unless prepared for very...

Four family cabins, all with fully equipped kitchens and screen porches, are rented by the same folks who run the Tropic Star ferry to Cayo Costa park. The cabins are clean and comfortable and basic. The target guests are families and fishermen with a boat. A good boat ramp and limited dockage is included. We stayed a week and loved...
