Me, my husband our teenage daughters love to stay at the Smoakhouse Ranch! It is a hidden jem in Florida's spring country. We have stayed 2 years in a row in the Earl cabin. And will probably stay a hundred more. There are so many springs in the area, we go tubing and swimming in just about all of them,...

My wife and I, along with my sister and her partner and her two children, rented the farmhouse on the Smoakhouse Ranch while visiting the Florida springs region. The ranch is beautiful and has several houses and cabins from which to choose. It has donkeys, goats, and cows that the children (and adults) can feed, a fishing pond, a swimming...

Stayed for a weekend while in the area visiting friends. This ranch came highly recommended, and was on the mark! My husband and I wanted a few days of down-time while visiting the area. Tim and Emily Smoak were wonderful hosts giving information about sights to see in the area along with ongoing and upcoming events. We enjoyed feeding the...

We have been to the Smoakhouse three times and each stay was wonderful. Tim & Emily are wonderful hosts, making sure we have everything we need, offering suggestions to local sites. Our 8 year old son loves feeding the goats, donkeys & sheep. He remembers these vacations more fondly than any of our trips to Disney or Universal.

The Smoakhouse Ranch has been my little hideaway since, ohhhh, 1995 or so. I fell in love on the first visit. The Smoak's have always been gracious and attentive hosts - from a twilight cocktail to morning coffee outside and chatting. They have been kind enough to take us out of the river on several occasions - certainly not required...

My husband and I have been coming to the Smaokhouse Ranch since Tim and Emily opened. Our 4 children (now 30, 28, 28 and 25) have all brought friends over the years on family trips and those friends still talk about these weekend getaways as the BEST!! Are you looking for peace and quiet? This is where to come! Do...

We have been staying at the Smoakhouse ranch since 2004. We have stayed several times in the Earl cabin, and cabin 1 and 2. All the cabins are cozy and home away from home for us. Our son has enjoyed feeding the goats, donkey's and cows. The ranch is a step back in time but with air conditioning! Love it...

We needeed a place to park the family while half of us (the smart half) went to the Swamp to see the Florida Gators play in Gainesville. This funky little ranch is perfect to keep the kids amused with the animals and let my wife birdwatch while my sons and I go to watch the Gators. The place is very...

My daughter and I have stayed at the Smoakhouse Ranch many times. We were always treated like royalty. We love Tim and Emily, the owners.
