This is an average motel on the Interstate. Good for one night. The outdoor pool is not heated but hot tub is at the proper temperature. The motel sits at the end of a street behind a Waffle House and Dunkin Donuts. There were a couple of people experiencing homelessness walking in the area and the street is unlit. We noticed two cars parked in the field East of the motel with people in them on the way in. The following morning my son in law called me from the breakfast area to tell us not to leave our room. He said a mentally disturbed woman came in off the street and threatened to stab him while he was eating breakfast. She threatened another man causing him to spill his coffee all over. She then ran off into the halls of the motel. The staff didn't know her, and she was never located according to the front desk. So.....lock your car? Breakfast was decent.…
It was a great hotel to stay at fora wedding nearby. The beds were comfortable. We were upgraded to a suite that had a jacuzzi in it. That was fantastic. The shower has great water pressure. The breakfast was still included. The only drawback to that it was in close proximity to other tables. You can still take your food back to your room though. But still a good selection to choose from. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Very courteous as well.
When I am in the area, I go out of my way to stay here. The lady at the desk upon arrival (Diane) is extremely nice and helpful. I also met another front desk employee this stay who was very helpful (Rhonda). It is nice to have such helpful people greeting me upon arrival and making sure I have a good stay. The last time I stayed here my television didn’t work. The maintenance man (Jovanny) came right to the room and replaced the television within minutes. Thank you Jovanny! The housecleaning staff is BEYOND helpful and just so pleasant and accommodating always saying hello and asking if I need anything. I really enjoy the pool area which has a nice pool and hot tub. Both are sooo relaxing! The only criticism I have is the breakfast area. The pancake machine has a sign on it saying “temporarily out of order”. I stayed over for 4 days and all I can say it is not “temporarily out of order”; it didn’t move an inch the entire time. I hope it is working next time I visit or please move it to the back room. I also agree with the other reviewer who stated the lady who works breakfast is surly and when asking for something she gets very annoyed and starts mumbling. I would have given this review a 5 star but breakfast was inadequate (things not filled) and as mentioned, the lady who works it was not inviting or helpful at all. Overall, thank you HIE for another fun stay; I look forward to coming back soon and having some pancakes for breakfast.…
This is the worst IHG hotel we have ever stayed in. Dark, dingy and in desperate need of remodeling everything!! The mattress was sagging. The bathroom had mold in the grout and a live bug crawling in the tub. The furniture was warn and outdated. Everything in the public areas was covered with Yellow caution tape. The only reason it didn’t get a “terrible “ rating was the lady who checked us in was nice but the breakfast lady was surly. IHG you should be embarrassed of this hotel!
This is how a hotel should be...friendly staff, clean room, nice facilities, great breakfast, etc. Our travel plans changed a bit and we got to the hotel at noon and they were so nice and accommodating and let us go ahead and check in. We were tired, the kids were a bit stir crazy and needed to get out of the vehicle so this was so great! The room was very nice and large and the A/C worked too well...LOL. It was cold when we got in the room. We travel to Spring Hill/Brooksville area a lot and we will definitely be staying here again.
