I have been to Cedar Key many times and was actually in this establishment 2 times prior without incident having a pleasant stay. This time my Service dog caught the attention of the owner of the business. She rudely told me dogs are not allowed inside her business. When I explained I had a Service pet(who had a vest on)&...

Admittedly, this hotel/B&B is not for everyone. I was with a group and we had 9 of the 10 rooms. Some of us loved this place, some of us hated it. I was one of the ones that loved it. Every room is totally different and ALL except one of them have private baths. The floors creak and slope every...

The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly, the bed was fine, the breakfast was good, the floors and doors are creaky and the place is ancient. I don't equate "old" with "quaint" however. We had the only room in the hotel with a private bath, which was across the hall. The bath was relatively new and appeared to...

If you ever get to Cedar Key...stay at this historic hotel. We relaxed, enjoyed the town, but most of all...it was exciting! The Neptune Bar is the best this world traveler has experienced. We Love it!

This hotel is like none other than I have ever stayed in. It is an old building – over 150 years old! Talk about charm and uniqueness, I could easily imagine that I had stepped back into the mid-1800s. That being said, I had a wonderful experience here. Just make sure that you go in understanding that it is not...

We stayed here for 2 nights in room 23 for my wife's Birthday. We enjoyed our stay even though room 23 needed Maintenance and was deemed "Dangerous" by my wife ! Room 23 has a tiled 8" step-up into a tiny toilet area which was difficult to navigate at night in the dark. My wife nearly tripped & fell on...

This hotel has a rumored ghost in residence and no tv or radio. It does have WiFi and a great tiny local bar and restaurant where you meet the locals that used to visit just like you!!! There is no easy way to get to Cedar Key but a great area to visit!!! We go once a year at least!!!!

We stayed in the house for 2 days. It was wonderful. The house has a wonderful old world feel with a rich history. The check in was smooth and quick. We stayed in room 34 which was a king bed and claw foot tub with shower. There is no tv or phones in any of the rooms. That was wonderful...

This is a hotel with history. One night, I got up and read through the visitors' guest registry, which goes back decades. I even found an entry by Jesse Jackson saying it was a great racially integrated hotel, written back in the seventies. I then walked back on the creaky wooden floorboards to my room, content with knowing that a...

We spent four nights over New Year! It was wonderful. The place has charm and you can enjoy the place like it's your own. The food was great and the gal, Angel, was the sweetest kid there and took great care of us. We will definitely return!! Thanks
