Dockside Motel is conveniently located near shops and restaurants, with rooms that overlook the Gulf of Mexico. It's one of the best bargains in town if you want a room with a view in Cedar Key without spending a fortune. On the other hand, you will have to be willing to accept this motel's shortcomings. For starters, parking is nonexistent.... More

We just wanted a place to stay to break up our trip and eat some oysters. My husband tried to find some place on the dock and this was it. To say Spartan is nice. The blinds were all falling off the window. The person at the front desk could not check us in because she didn't know how the... More

We live locally and stay here every time to enjoy the island atmosphere safely. The property is a bit older, but clean and excellent staff. Located directly on Dock Street, walking distance to most of the Island.

This was our 4th visit, and as always, the setting was perfect. Directly across from the fishing pier, and right on the quaint Dock St...people watching and friendly smiles all day long! Savannah was our hostess, and very accommodating. We will be back, but this time in the near future! Thank you, Jim & Anne

This hotel has a prime location at the end of Dock Street, with a lovely view of the water and the fishing pier. The hotel rooms have some larger than others. Mine was quite large, with dinette table and chairs, microwave and mini fridge. The furnishings and fixtures may be a bit dated, but everything worked and it was clean.... More

Ended up here on a whim. Nice place. We stayed in room #2 had an awesome view of the pier and coast line. Pier directly across the street. Everything is within minutes from the hotel. Room was clean. Ac ice cold. Wifi was weak. Room needs updating and a little tlc. Blinds sucked but the location made up for that.... More

The view and location are key to this older hotel. The rooms are ok and the AC works great. Otherwise, they are a hodgepodge collection of funky art and furniture. They are clean though and very reasonably priced. Be aware they are on the second floor and there is no elevator. Savannah is the clerk and she seems to single-handedly... More

Came in to visit Cedar Key with no real agenda. Drove onto Dock Street and saw Dockside Hotel's very attractive room rate.
