We stayed in room #1. A large bright room with lots of windows. Sunset is spectacular from this room. Everything was clean and tidy. Gary, the manager, was a above and beyond type person. He helped us n so many ways. Coffee was available each mornng. I would like to see new shades, we will be back real soon.

We looked at three places before settling on this motel. It's $69.95 a night rate attracted us as we didn't feel we would be in the room much. It was the weekday so parking was not a problem. The manager, Gary went out of his way to get us at two day golf cart rental from Dell at Cedar Key...

Our room had a nice view of the water and dock. It was right along the dock which made it convenient to all the waterfront restaurants and activities along the waterfront. It would be nice if they got some real blinds or curtain for the windows. Don't expect to sleep late. The remote for the TV didn't work. There also...

My daughter and I stayed here and it matches the feel of the little town very well. I wouldn't expect what you do normally at a Hampton Inn or one of the big hotels, it is what it is and sits well with the feel of the town.

This is a nice little motel that offers excellent value. PROS: Location! The front of the motel faces south toward the gulf and a fishing pier, steps away from the front door. Most rooms are on the second floor with beautiful views. The back rooms face an ocean inlet, marina, and the town. The rooms are spacious and have a...

We've visited Cedar Key several times over the last several years. This was our first stay at the Dockside Hotel even though we had seen it on every trip. It's hard to miss, first building on Dock Street. Great location! Almost everything of interest is within walking distance. We parked our car and it pretty much stayed there the entire...

We wanted to be close to the restaurant we were dining at since the day was very cold. Attendant was very nice and pleasant although she was new in town so she could not offer a lot of information. Hotel definitely needs a full updating since everything is very old. I must say that it was clean and the mattress...

Went there this past week (1/2-1/3/17) and found the place clean and the location was right off the pier with a great view. Sherry was very friendly and helped out when needed. My only complaint is that the place is showing wear, and needs to be updated. I could tell maintenance is sporadic, such as 3 different types of light...

We had a short stay but it was fun! The motel was nice and clean...we loved the service and felt at home. The 2 beds were comfortable and roomy. It was chilly...and the food was delicious.. We will be back for sure but in the summer so we can enjoy the water.

Dockside Motel is conveniently located near shops and restaurants, with rooms that overlook the Gulf of Mexico. It's one of the best bargains in town if you want a room with a view in Cedar Key without spending a fortune. On the other hand, you will have to be willing to accept this motel's shortcomings. For starters, parking is nonexistent....
