Apparently the owner of the hotel is a "Doctor", hopefully he takes better care of his patients than the investment property he does not maintain here. I was embarrassed that I brought my family here. My wife had several other plans yet I convinced her "this was ok"... it might have been "ok" for a homeless person but this was...

Ok, so it's very outdated, and maybe not the cleanest, but we were loving the place. It's old, and it is ON THE WATER!! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We only stayed one night - we had an event nearby, but we wanted to stay on the water, and this was perfect. It was quiet and so so nice...

The hotel staff were really nice and tried very hard to accommodate us, but the state of the rooms was a gamble as we learned, and not something staff could really do much about other than move guests. We stayed in March of 2015 and I have some deal breakers in a hotel which will cause me to check out-...

Mildew in toilet, shower floor. Light in vanity area took 1/2 hour to come on. Asked specifically about cable and wifi. Clerk said 99 channels and yes to wi fi. Had to go outside to get wi fi and then it was very, very, very slow. So slow it would take 10 minutes to download an email. Wore my socks...

.....there were crumbs in our bed and hair all over the bathroom floor. I can deal with old but old is no excuse for dirty, guys. The location is great but that's nature and I can't give the motel the credit for that lol. Front desk was nice. Wouldn't stay here again. If you don't change the sheets between guests...

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in! The pull out bed did not work, the room was dirty, the 1980's window units that were stuck in the wall made so much noise it was hard to sleep and the bath room had pubic hair on the floor!! I went and tried to get them to address the problems and they...

I was looking for an inexpensive place to crash so that I could go to an early morning Manatee snorkel with River Ventures (whom I would also recommend). The location is fantastic, but the rooms are bare bones at the best. This is a great place if you are looking for a low-key crash-pad with a bar attached :-) ....

We picked this hotel because of its location on the water, but we should have considered other aspects of the property. This place is old and needs updating badly. The carpet was horribly stained, the doorway into the bathroom was damaged. The bathroom vanity was marred, the bathtub had layer after layer of caulking on the joints. In addition, the...

This place is in the perfect location. The rooms are really old and need updating but I'm not one to complain about it. I really liked my stay and you can rent kayaks and canoes right next door. The only problem I really have with crystal river in general and not the hotel, is people are jerks. Some of these...

This is an old Florida waterfront motel made from concrete block with stucco interior. There are many needed minor repairs but everything was functional and clean. The staff was very friendly and courteous. They were helpful with knowledge of the area too. The room wasn’t as good as I had hoped for but considering age and the waterfront it was...
