Paid top dollar because stay was during Spring Break. Shuttle service from airport was adequate. Staff at front desk were overworked and overwhelmed. They were courteous, but I needed extra pillows and the poor man had to literally run down the hall to get them for me himself. We didn’t stay there again after our cruise because of loud guests in the hall and next door at 2 am. Breakfast was decent, but our first experience there will be our last stay there.
This hotel is in an area that looks like it used to be fairly upscale but there are a lot of closed businesses. The only place we could find to eat within walking distance was the brewery next door. We elected to go elsewhere. The front desk people at check in must be good poker players because they had deadpan expressions. It is 5 minutes from the FLL airport.
Filthy… almost like there is no cleaning staff. Paper thin walls. Front desk wont even pick up the phone. VERY LOUD!!! Did I mention FILTHY! There are tons of options. We had a good experience with the last Choice Hotel we stayed at in Ogunquit, ME.
We Stayed Here Before Flying Back Home To Buffalo, NY Since It's So Close To The FLL Airport. For The Amount Of Money Per Night, It Should Be A Bit Nicer. We Woke Up To A Musty, Wet Smell And Found Our Carpet Soaked Under And All Around The Air Conditiong Unit. The Pool Was Filthy & Full Of Leaves/Debris. The Shower Door, Or Should I Say Doorless Design Is Interesting, Allowing Water To Splash Everywhere. The Breakfast Was Your Average Hotel Breakfast. I Would Give It Another Chance, But Would Definately Shop Around Before Booking Again.
The hotel has a shuttle bus from FLL airport which was convenient. staff was pleasant and check in was reasonably quick The room was OK, except there was a slightly musty smell when we arrived. The AC worked, but there were wires sticking out of the side- definitely not childproof. The bathroom was a little dirty. stuff on the floor and stains on the wall The couch in the room was really old and sprung so it wasn't comfortable to sit on. The bed was clean and comfortable. The TV worked well the safe was quite difficult to use and the mgmt informed us they were waiting for parts. The phone in the room was barely working. the wires were partially broken. I didn't get a chance to use the pool or gym. sleep quality was OK except for the IDIOT slamming doors in the hallway at all hours of the night. not the hotel's fault per se, but still... breakfast was standard fare - eggs, bagels, sausage, yogurt. the dining area was pleasant. there was a nice brewpup nearby with good food. overall it was OK and convenient for our cruise. however I paid well over $300 for what i felt was a $120 hotel. …
Upon checking in, we were greeted with apathy, condescension, and rudeness by Jeremiah. Maybe he was having a bad day, but assuming that every guest checking in was just plain stupid was a serious misstep and the first of several reasons why we would never recommend this hotel. We were exhausted from our drive and simply wanted to get a good night's sleep. We noticed that the shower stall was dirty. After removing several long, black hairs that were stuck to the shower door, and deciding that the black stains on the shower floor were not going to wipe off, we agreed that we were too tired to care that much about it. We weren't about to inconvenience Mr. Congeniality (Jeremiah) with a request for a room change. It was morning before we bothered to look up and see the black mold growing on the ceiling of the main part of the room. The lower part of the shower stall was also coated in soap scum from repeated usage with no real cleaning in between. It was a disgusting and disappointing stay. Never again. By the way, the highlight of our stay was the shuttle driver. Thank you, sir!…
The outside of the hotel and lobby looked clean and well maintained Then, you get to your room. It was the worst room/ hotel, ever! First, they gave us a room for the disabled. The shower was a hand held sprayer. Not the best shower, unless you sit on the floor. The bedding and towels were stained and yellow. The couch and bed was filthy. So many stains and spots. We stood until it was time to sleep. Everything from the floors, walls, and a/c stunk. Musty! And keep your shoes on 🤢
Needed a hotel for one night and there was very limited options but the comfort suites was a great place for the night. Very large rooms and clean. Plus a free breakfast in the mornings with a free shuttle service for the airport.
We stayed here in April 2022. The rooms smelled very musty and there was grime and handprints on the headboard. When we came back from dinner, there were cockroaches on the wall. The front desk switched our room but seemed unphased when we told them. We ended up checking out and they issued us a refund but the whole experience was terrible and made us paranoid about our luggage the rest of the trip. Stay somewhere else.
I have never given a bad review or any review at all but this place is not clean, saw a roach in our room, never looks like they vacuum anything, and worst of all the rooms smell of heavy must. If these things don't bother you then go for it. Never again!
