The Mayan Inn is an awesome place to stay. Once you park your car, you can walk to all the major attractions in Daytona Beach or you can just relax, visit the hotel’s tiki bar and enjoy a Pina Colada on the oceanfront pool deck. There are over 100 hotels in the Daytona Beach area, but the Mayan Inn is...

Looks like the hotel has been neglected for years. Absolutely, bare minimum money spent. I'm sure it came from the previous manager. Probably got an award or something for saving money. Shot themselves in the foot. This could be a nice place to stay if the get rid of the pan handlers. All flyers should remain at front desk and...

The Mayan Inn may have been neglected in years past, but it is not being neglected anymore. Unfortunately, we do not have an unlimited budget, but we are going to make the very best out of what we have. I can guarantee you that we will get rid of the panhandlers. In fact, we just hired extra security to ensure...

Daytona is a lot of fun and the Mayan is definitely the place to stay if you want to be in the middle of it all. The hotel is old, but it has a lot of character and the staff is very friendly. I did have a problem with my door lock, but they fixed it right away. I won't...

This used to be my go to spot a few years back. It is still an ok place if you want a place in the fun area of Daytona Beach and aren't expecting a high end place. On our recent trip we stopped to check it out and where shown a room on the 6th floor. It was clean and...

The Mayan Inn is certainly not perfect, but it is the best place to stay in Daytona Beach. The iconic “Ocean Deck” is right next door, the boardwalk is within walking distance and Daytona’s world famous Main Street is only one block away! We have some work that needs to be completed, but I intend to make sure the Mayan...

There is a little good ... But let me begin with the bad... 1) The elevators were either broken, slow or on some type of drug. Either not working, moving up at a slow pace and/or opening and closing and not moving at all. 2) The beds were horrible, very old mattresses and uncomfortable. Ours sunk in the middle, did...

We felt welcome by them, they were helpful with our questions, dealt with any issues quickly, and there always was someone available. The Hotel: A great deal of the rooms gave the ocean which is awesome....

I am very happy that you enjoyed your recent trip to Daytona Beach! The views from the balconies at the Mayan Inn are definitely the best views in Daytona. Although some of the televisions may be outdated, some of the carpets may need to be replaced and the hallways may need some work, we have plans to address these issues...

We enjoyed having you as our guest at the Mayan Inn. Please keep in mind that the Mayan Inn also has an excellent tiki bar, a game room and an indoor sports bar. Thank you...

Even though they were doing construction, it is a good location. Great view of the ocean. Everything is conveniently close, shopping and restaurants. The staff was very informative and helpful. The parking was tight. Over all this place is worth the money and will definitely come back.
