Customer service was superior! We had an unfortunate issue with our reservation at another hotel and had to book with the Hampton last minute. We were stressed, tired and frustrated when we arrived. The staff were understanding compassionate and gracious! Daverene and Chris were amazing. The housekeeping staff were very kind and the breakfast staff had wonderful customer service. Wonderful space and close to the beach. We walked there through the back parking lot a few times!

I was very satisfied with the accommodations of this hotel. The room was a suite with Two queen beds beds and a sleeper sofa. Everything was perfect and even though it was not a handicap accessible room it was still enough room for my special needs sons’ supplies in my toddler son to run around and play. The staff was immaculate! The only issue we had was the grill beside the pool was not safe to use. Other than that minor issue we had a perfect vacation!

Stayed for 3 nights and it was one of the best Hampton Inns we have ever stayed at. The room was clean and large and it was evident that the cleaning was above and beyond. The location was a quick 5 min walk to the public beach or a 5 min drive to the Henderson State Park beach which I recommend ($6). Best part about the Hilton hotels are the digital key and app navigation. I didn’t have to worry about stopping at front desk, I checked in and out on my phone and used digital key. Love that. The staff I did interact with were all friendly and safe, wearing masks. This is a great hotel with proper Covid measures in place. I will absolutely return and recommend!

We stayed in October 2024 for a 4 night stay while our condo is being renovated. We are loyal Hampton customers. This hotel should be closed. It is so dirty and worn. You can see in the pictures the floors and common areas are repulsive. They were not touched (including the dried egg on the elevator) the entire stay. Garbage everywhere. Lots of animals…. and it shows.
Our room had stained sheets and mold in the unstocked bathroom. The front desk staff was annoyed anytime you asked for anything. They said twice they would come service the room and never showed. Karla, the GM, did call us and she was very nice and professional. We were refused a refund (we prepaid a non-refundable rate…. DO NOT DO THIS). We were told it couldn’t be refunded. However she said instead she would give us points and a be my guest voucher. We are still waiting on the voucher and not feeling confident. I’m hopeful it arrives and hope Karla is able to get support from Hilton to turn that place around. It’s a great location.
This was a horrible experience and we will not be back. I’m frustrated we couldn’t leave unless we wanted to pay for another hotel at our own expense. I couldn’t relax. We just stayed gone as much as we could and made sure to not touch anything as best we could. 🤮

We stayed at this Hampton Inn previously (it was pre-COVID) and had great experiences because of the location, pool, and staff. Operations here have certainly diminished. They started charging for parking at $10+ per day. No one at the front desk answers the phone. No one answers texts through Hilton app if you have a question or concern. We requested housekeeping services when we checked in. Of course, no housekeeping service happened on the first night and had to beg for it on the second night when the housekeeping cart our floor literally skipped our room. We requested bottled waters per our Diamond status but never received them. If you don’t care about customer service, the hotel is great location to a great restaurant The Back Porch) and the beach. The pool is also great. Hopefully, the operations of this hotel will improve.

The front desk staff was HORRIBLE, no eye contact, no welcome Hilton member, no personality. We had a couple issues with the 2 rooms (no soap in one and the other was dirty). When we went to the front desk there was no "I'm sorry for the issue- how can I help" it was as if we were interrupting their ability to watch their videos on their phones. Maintenance did quickly come clean the A/c- Heater that was filled with dust and housekeeping did come and make the room right. But this is not what I would expect from a Hampton Inn

The hotel staff was very friendly and responsive. Nice breakfast offering. The hotel itself though has a dingy feeling to it. The lobby chairs and sofas were dirty and heavily stained. The rooms need to be updated as there were no USB ports on any of the lamps or anywhere else in the room. The carpeting was dark brown but when you looked at it closely it had stains in it. The long desk was scratched and chipped and the chair was very old and had small tears. One of the dispensers was empty and not checked prior to check in. Not enough pillows and those that were there lacked adequate support. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked well but when flushing the toilet it took an excessive amount of time to fill and it's loud. The microwave is small and didn't heat well and the in room coffee maker was cheap and didn't get really hot. Disappointed, but a convenient location, very close to the beach but needs a renovation. As a frequent visitor to Destin though, I will stay at another Hilton property.

Gross! After checking in at the front desk and arriving in our room we noticed it had not been cleaned. When we went to get our new room keys another couple was at the desk because they had also just checked in and were given a dirty room. Our new room didn't have any soap so we had to request some. The overall feel of the entire hotel (halls, rooms, etc.) is that it needs a deep clean and lots of updating. The beds and pillows were terribly uncomfortable and we didn't sleep well our entire vacation. The "heated" pool was also a let down because it wasn't remotely warm. My kids, which typically enjoy swimming in any temperature, were freezing. The lady at the front desk during the night shift was also exceptionally rude. Look for somewhere else to stay when visiting Destin.

Do not be fooled by the overall 4.5 star rating. I can't believe that Hilton Corporate has let this hotel exist in the current condition. We booked this hotel for a milestone celebration with family because of the rating and the location. The location I must say is great proximity the beach, attractions and restaurants, but that is where it ends. Unfortunately, we were locked in due to moving our entire party with no availability at another hotel. I rejected out first room to get a second room. It was "clean", however very antiquated and used. I actually went to the store and bought my own Clorox wipes and shower cleaner. The shower had mildew coming through the cracked caulk. Our room was never cleaned the entire 7 night stay nor towels delivered, or trash picked up. The glass doors in the entry ways were never cleaned the whole time we were there (dirty when we got there). I could go on and on but I'm sure my point it made. Oh and...our rooms were over $400 per night, absolutely insane for what you get. I can understand the hotel being outdated but DIRTY..that's another thing.

As I travel for work, I am finding that many hotels in this price range are not keeping hallways and lobby areas clean. This hotel has old food, old food boxes, etc on the floor in the hallways. The breakfast area floors look like they have not been cleaned in days. I know businesses complain about not being able to hire but I watched several employees walk right past the food on the floor and the boxes and not pick them up. Also, breakfast workers were standing around instead of cleaning the area.
