Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village boasts an enviable location that earns high marks from guests for its convenience and range of nearby amenities. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the hotel's cleanliness, encountering issues with pest control and maintenance, while opinions on service vary, some noting attentiveness and others frustrated by delays. While the amenities like the Harborwalk and beach access are generally appreciated, the limited pool space and extra fees draw criticism. The atmosphere and room quality receive mixed reactions, with aesthetic appeal offset by noise and outdated elements. Consequently, numerous travelers question the value offered by the hotel.

This is not a 5-star hotel, it's more like a 3. Make sure you know their taxes and miscellaneous fees BEFORE you finalize your reservation...these fees are outrageous! Their daily fees include resort fees of $45/day, daily bed fees (every day has a different charge), admin fees $99, depart cleaning fees of $220, plus Florida sales tax on top of ALL of it. Our total bill was $4,351, the taxes and these miscellaneous fees added up to $1,135 of that total which equals 26% of our total bill! We stayed 5/11/24-5/18/24 for 7 nights in a 3bed/3bath suite. Aesthetically, the room #305E was great; however the microwave did not work to warm up food. The sink stopper was broken in one of the king bedrooms and the cabinet below had a half inch of water in it when we checked in. In was not usable. After calling the front desk for maintenance three times, and speaking with the maids in the hallway, no one ever came to fix it. The food is very marginal at the Grande Vista restaurant and the service is awfully slow. I do not recommend the Emerald Grande at Harborwalk Village.

It was an okay hotel not my favorite that i have stayed at. Brendan or Brandon with Wyndham was very rude to me and my family. He made some comments that were very unnecessary. You can tell that he is just working there to promote his parents business. Other than that the hotel was okay. The rooms were mat cleaned to the best they could have been when my family and I got there there was still toothpaste in the sink like it had not been cleaned. The hotel was in good walking distance to places. You have to take a boat to get to the "beach" and it only runs every 30 minutes and stops at 5:45 you can not go to it after 5. If you looking for a on beach hotel this is not it.

We absolutely love the Emerald Grande! Mike and Chi are great! Mike was great to work with and went above and beyond to ensure everything about our stay was fantastic! The unit is beautiful and spacious. A boat takes everyone to a private beach every half hour and the Harborwalk Village makes eating and entertainment super easy if you don't have a car. This was a very relaxing trip. We will definitely be back.

Filthy hotel with Roaches. They don't care apparently they offer a $100 credit but don't offer to change your unit, unless you are willing to pay what I was quoted was $1400 for two nights and that was discounted. Upon entering the Unit I noticed a dirty stained chair and I called them and asked that it be removed and they did. The next morning was one roach I notified them, they said they would spray. Later that night we came back to the unit turned on the kitchen light and the roaches started to scatter tried to get them to switch roads and they didn't have anything under Wyndham. I tried to find other accommodations in the area but that's hard for 7 people. We even tried to change out flights and that was even more expensive. We went to Walmart got washing detergent and black plastic bags washed everything, and kept all our belongings in big black plastic bags. We didn't use any of the cookware, anything like that we ate out the entire trip and the food we did buy we through out. NEVER EVER would I recommend this place. They segregate the Wyndham guest apparently from other guest. If this was not the case they would have changed my room and not asking me to pay $1400 for the change. Wyndham honesty needs to separate from them because they treat Wyndham guest differently apparently. The issues was never that they didn't have room, they didn't want to accommodate me as a Wyndham guest.

Update: finally spoke with the desk manager and was told they can't move us bc the hotel is booked and they can't give any comps. Even more disappointing. Absolutely do not recommend if you're looking to have a relaxing getaway.

We are so disappointed! We planned a romantic getaway to relax after a busy and stressful month, only to have a room in the East Tower that has extremely loud music coming from the bar across the parking lot. We're on the 9th floor and it feels like we're right next to it. Literally vibrates the walls. The first night we thought it was coming from a room next to us.

In addition, the day we arrived, the room hadn't been cleaned. There were towels all over the floor, the beds weren't made, and dirty dishes in the sink. They came and cleaned whole we went out and gave us a $50 credit to use at a restaurant as a comp, but that didn't even cover a basic breakfast for two the next day.

Went back for breakfast after listening to the sales pitch - we got there at 11:04am and we're told we could no longer get breakfast because it's stops at 11:00am. Not the type of service I have come to expect from a Wyndham property.

As things currently stand, I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

This is our third night and we just realized where the noise was coming from. It's Friday so extra loud. My earbuds are in and I can still hear it. I called and asked to be moved somewhere else in the hotel and was told to call for a supervisor first thing in the morning. I will update my score if they can make it better.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel room was visibly nice and comfortable like all other Wyndham resorts but the problems we had far outweighed it. There is a ROACH problem big time. We found multiple scurrying around at night in the kitchen and bathroom, and we weren’t even close to the bottom floors. We literally had to put all of our groceries in the fridge in fear of the roaches getting into them. Regardless of what floor you’re on, roaches shouldn’t be a problem and they shouldn’t be denied or dismissed as “palmetto bugs” when brought to the staffs attention. Even though we were extremely grossed out and uncomfortable after our discovery, we didn’t even want to switch rooms because we read other reviews with rooms that were much worse than ours. Our room was on the East side of the towers which was right by the road and Coyote Ugly. The walls and windows are so thin that you’re able to hear every beat and every car that drives by, especially the cars that are trying to show off. The pool was nice but they don’t require wristbands and the limited amount of chairs fill up fast since anyone can just come in off the street. You’re not allowed to bring coolers or your own alcohol to the pool, so if you want to drink, you have to buy ridiculously priced ones from the pool bar. Along with that this hotel is NOT on the beach, you either have to drive or you can take a water taxi to a beach with no bathrooms, chairs or umbrellas. The boardwalk has like 5 stores and then the rest is activities for kids or shut down, so only half of it is truly up and functioning. We couldn’t wait to leave this place and we will definitely not be back.

Room 626 Terrible! Found roaches and went to front desk. Was told all they could do was have maintenance come and spray. We would be responsible for cleaning up any dead roaches. We said that was not acceptable and wanted housekeeping to come clean and give us fresh towels and change the sheets. They said that since COVID the policy is that housekeeping can only bring fresh towels, but they would not clean or change sheets. We said that was not acceptable and this was an extenuating circumstance. To get that done we had to speak to a manager. After leaving our room for 4 hours we came back hopefully optimistic. The room was clean and there were no roaches to be seen. We left for the evening to go eat. Upon returning there were roaches all over the kitchen. At least 7 that we caught before they scurried back into the cabinets and behind the stove and refrigerator. We went to the front desk again. This time the manager was sympathetic but was not able to help us in any way. This is simply unacceptable. We were willing to move to another unit but were told they were 100% booked. We should have been told at the very least that we could have our money refunded so we could have a chance to find a clean place to stay. Still waiting to hear from someone on how to get this resolved. Hoping for the best. The property is in a great location and has lots of amenities. Sad that this is had to ruin our family vacation.

This place is a dive. It is outdated and appears to have never been refurnished. My room was disgusting. They charge a bed tax. There is no maid service. They have an additional charge of $170.00 to clean room upon your departure. There were no pads on beach chairs or towels.

If I could give this a negative 10 I would. They misrepresent the whole place. The rooms are big but the beds are hard as a rock and you wake up in pain. The pool is small for how big the place is and there is definitely not enough seating and chairs and if you want a chair I suggest waking up and going out before 700 to put towels on the chairs to reserve them as this is what most people did even if they weren’t coming back until later in the day. The adults only hot tub was cold and didn’t work. The elevators were always busy and packed and they were constantly showing people around trying to convince them to buy a timeshare there. Be prepared for it to be very loud even at night so if you have children that go to bed earlier good luck. With HarborWalk being there the parking is ridiculous and insane and it’s always so busy. HarborWalk is cool and has a lot to do but after so many days it gets old. The hotel is old and run down. You can hear everything from outside through the bathroom vent in the room. We have stayed so many places and this is by far the worst.

We stayed here for 3 nights and the location is great but the hotel left a very bad memory. We the day before we left, we discovered 2 cockroaches in our unit and we complained to the front desk who told us we would have to get ahold of Wyndham for recompense. Wyndham directed it back to the hotel to make things right. The hotel said they would spray our room, while we went to dinner and they would have a gift for our trouble, when we returned from dinner. After we returned from dinner, at 930pm, the hotel gives us a hotel credit towards dinner at the hotel restaurant. Seriously? And on top of that, we return to our unit to find another roach crawling up the bathroom wall! I have dreamed about staying at this resort for about 10 years and it's just been a big disappointment.
