Lovely, comfortable, quiet, rooms. But main attraction is kayaking/canoeing opportunities. Bring your own. Rent from hotel. Or join group tours. Very close to Everglades and Cypress preserve landings.

The people were friendly, the breakfast was hearty, the beds, including the rollaway, were comfortable and the shower was great. The location is terrific for exploring the Everglades and Ivey House offers kayaking tours. Loved our trip in the mangrove tunnels.

This establishment is the nicest in the area. The rooms and furnishings are all comfortable and everything is spotless. The Breakfasts are tasty, nutritious, and filling. Important since you will be out and about with Alligators, Snakes, and hundreds of birds in the Everglades. We took two tours and found them to be terrific, great guides (see review about the...

Ivey House staff were very welcoming and were able to set us up with airboat tickets and a half-day kayaking trip with an amazing guide, D.J. Sharp. The room was clean and adequate and had a small refrigerator. It was really all we needed, as we wanted to just grab breakfast and get going on our busy days. You can...

My husband and I are experienced paddlers, but when it comes to paddling in Mangroves, you need an experienced guide. Neil from the Ivey House took a small group of us on a great adventure! He is great with people and the small group became friends. Thanks for a memorable experience!

This is not a typical Bed and breakfast, but an average motel with a buffet breakfast. But it is the best thing in Everglade City, as it is rather remote. The room was large and clean, but worn. The pool in the courtyard looked nice.

I am a Tour Leader and a group of 20 of us stayed at the Ivey House while exploring the Everglades. We could not have found a better place. The staff was friendly and accommodating to all our needs and requests. Whether recommending great local restaurants within easy walking distance or arranging an air boat ride for the group, they...

We had a great time here. We stayed two nights and did their mangrove tour. Our guide, Corey, was amazing. Super clean rooms and great breakfast. We stayed in the lodge which was very comfortable, but the walls are a little thin.
