stop no. 3 of our S. Florida tour. After South Beach Miami ( see my review of the Urbanica Meridian ) and Key West ( see my review of Oceans Edge resort ) we arrived at Fort Lauderdale for 2 nights . To be honest I wasn't widely impressed with Fort Lauderdale beach area. I doubt we would go again...

I randomly came across this hotel on TripAdvisor while doing research for a little girls trip. When I've gone to Fort Lauderdale in the past I've always stayed at the Hilton or the Westin right on the main strip. This hotel is set back just about a block from the main strip...not even. I have to say I was very...

We've stayed 3 nights at Ikona and it was a good experience. The hotel was pretty new and wasn't busy and maybe because of that service wasn't that great - it was difficult to find staff during the day or someone at the pool bar, for example. Room was comfortable, spacious, with coffee machine and a small refrigerator, a very...

Upgraded to the Ikona after booking the Fortuna. Ultra-modern property, with efficient layout. We had a pleasant stay and felt like we were in a European property. Clean and pleasant view of the courtyard from outside our room. Beach is just a short walk away.

Without prior notification, the Ikona Hotel allowed a hotel employee to have a gay wedding that included wild and loud partying until midnight. People ran around wildly, were very loud, got onto the balcony and even peek into the room window. It totally ruined the honeymoon. I told the night manager that we are Christians and that a wild gay...

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are sorry that your son and his new bride were inconvenienced. As you know our owner was on property and offered to move your son to one of our other properties or even the W Hotel Across the street. He opted to accept the complimentary room instead. The city...

We were met by Oscar who was very courteous and asked if he could help us with luggage. The set up is really nice, with the pool and bar outside. Don't worry folks they have a great ice machine. Stayed at the Ikona for 2 nights over spring break. Have usually stayed at larger hotels chains, but pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious, although the bathroom a bit on the smaller side. The only downside was a bit of noise from spring break which was thankfully shut down by management rather quickly. I would stay...
