Stayed here for 3 nights in March. I totally forgot that it would be spring break so the beach and sidewalk/street in front of the hotel were pretty much madness at all times that I was there, so it was certainly nice to have the pool at the hotel which was a lovely oasis of calm in the midst of...

Love the pool at the Ritz. Great for lunch and a drink and a day of fun in the sun. The staff is very friendly. You know it is time to go back to your residence and dress for dinner when the pool becomes shady in the late afternoon! Great winter break....we have loved this location for both couples weekend...

It should be no surprise that a Ritz would get a great review. The Ritz Fort Lauderdale is no exception. The hotel is immaculate. Very nice layout, excellent staff, nice rooms and as stated a great location. The pool is on the 7th floor so you have a great view of the ocean from every chair without having to look...

Stayed here for one night before getting our cruise to the Caribbean and loved it. Everything about it is 6 stars, the accommodation is just great, marble floors, soft luxury bedding, all air-conditioned, rooms all big and beautiful in tasteful sand colours. We sat out on the terrace looking in the warm evening, directly out onto the Atlantic Ocean having...

Very large well appointed room. We especially liked the direct access from our patio to the beautiful pool area. Had a lovely view of...

Stayed at this hotel before going on a cruise. This hotel is directly overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and is one of the top hotels in the Fort Lauderdale Area. Enjoyed our stay at this hotel, its not cheap but then your staying at the Ritz!

We traveled to this property prior to a cruise. As we are a family of 4, we opted for two ocean front connecting rooms. The rooms we had (on the 10th floor) were very large and very well appointed. Balconies are also generous. The bathrooms are large and beautiful with lovely marble and tvs (great for those of us who...

The staff were extremely helpful and available. It was extremely clean and accommodating. Of all the Ritz Carlton's we've stayed at, this was by far our favorite. It was spring break for college students but the crowds were fun to watch and we pretty much on good behavior.

I am still in shock that this hotel can bear the Ritz Carlton flag. I have heard that it was lovely about 10 years ago, but wow. Things have changed. Our room was tiny, the bathroom was disgusting. This looks like a Holiday Inn property from the 80s. Nothing has been renovated, there is still popcorn paint on the ceiling,...

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale for our pre and post-cruise stays. We usually stay at the hotels that Royal Caribbean offers, but decided to venture out on our own this time and give the Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale a shot. We're glad we did. This family-oriented hotel was absolutely fantastic. The weather was not the best, but we were...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale infuses the Gold Coast with casual luxury as the city's first and only AAA Five Diamond hotel. The 24-story, dramatically tiered and glass walled structure has sweeping curves that are reminiscent of a luxury liner. Design elements recall the 1940's, with artwork that includes playful murals inspired by French artist Jean Cocteau and a 13-foot high mural of a seascape inspired by the 1880 painting, "King Neptune and His Horses." The property features 192 guest rooms and suites; a 2,200 square foot Club Lounge, 24,000 square feet of light-filled meeting space; a 29,000 square foot oceanfront sundeck with an infinity pool and private cabanas; destination Spa with an organic and active-botanical treatment menu and a water-view fitness center. Four dining and entertainment options include the new Via Luna Italian grill with seating indoors or al fresco on an oceanfront patio, the dramatic oceanfront Via Luna Bar, a private Wine Room with a 5,000 bottle wine cellar and a seventh floor Poolside Cafe with commanding ocean views. ... more   less
