We did the kayaking only. The trip was fun and the owners were friendly and professional. We had a great time and we will be back. Plan on 4.5 hours paddling time so bring sunscreen, bottled water, and a hat. Another good idea is a waterproof bag for your gear!

Very hesitant after reading the reviews but I will say the cabins were very small but sufficient for my family very well stocked with dishes clean towels room was very clean and kept they had a barbeque grill which was great because there is not much around pretty private I loved the indoor patio with screens to sit and eat...

If you've every seen the HGTV show "Tiny Houses" then you'll understand when I tell you this was a "Tiny Cabin" Indeed, it was on wheels. Small but cute, fairly clean (we rented the smaller cabin with a loft). It was ok for a few days, but you have to understand what you're getting. Very small and cramped, bathroom had...

Been using this outfit to transport my 2 kayaks up to Gore's Landing for the last 10 years. Ownership has changed hands a couple of time over the years but the new owners have a really bad attitude. The cost to haul 2 kayaks used to be $30 one way and has gone up over the years and that's fine...

Find another outfitter. The owner hates his customers and can't handle any deviation from routine. For the price I got a leaky canoe, a worthless map and complaints about anyone who ever stayed there or rented his canoes. Contrary to their advertising, the place is also not dog friendly. I used them twice. Thought the first time was a fluke....

If you're not the type to camp out in a tent but still want to experience Florida outdoors, this place is for you. With two sets of bunk beds and a overhead loft, the air-conditioned cabins will sleep as many as you want. Right in front of each cabin there are fire pits and picnic tables, perfect for cooking or...

This was awesome. I've only kayaked in salt water so I was wary of a fresh water paddle. The water is clear as the Ichetucknee in sections with spots to stop for swimming. Very enjoyable for kids ages 10 to 14. We saw plenty of wild life and pretty much had the river to ourselves most of the way.

The canoe was clean, which was great after getting a dirty one at Juniper Springs. The scenery was enchanting at first (although it's the same the entire 9 1/2 miles - not much variety). Cypress swamp along the way. We did see a fair amt. of wildlife - barred owl, grebe, several gators, turtles, etc. Not sure I would stay...

The owner Mike and Shelly were less than upfront about the availability of suitable,( dry) camp sites along the river. Our party of 6, 3 canoes planned to paddle 1/2 of the 20 miles the first day and camp, then paddle most of the way the second day, leaving a short paddle in the last day. The proprietor Mike, was...

This place is great. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and great atmosphere. We will be back for sure. My wife and I wanted a rustic get away but did not want to sacrifice modern conveniences. The cabins are quaint and roomy.

“Loft cabin sleeps a lot of people- has two bunks plus loft. But non-loft cabin has more elbow room.”
