Clean "cottages" not far from the historic and trendy Fort Myers downtown. Decor is a bit dated and basic, but fine for the price. We easily walked downtown to an event with no need for a taxi to come back.

I needed a room for the night as it was to rainy to drive back to Lauderdale as planned. Not being a fan of chain hotels I chose this with price and reviews in mind. There was two parts, one where we stayed with a few rooms and a larger resort across the street. This was fine for our needs....

We came to Fort Myers for my son's baseball tournament. We stayed in this little hotel built in the 1940's. It was clean. The staff were friendly, courteous and accomidating. Nothing fancy but we loved it. There are tennis courts, a very nice pool, a nature trail, a place to fish, canoes and kayaks for the guests to use. It...

We stayed in the cottages across the road and were very comfortable and felt safe. They provide all kinds of free things that you can do but we didn't take advantage of them. This place needs a good clean up. Wood debris and plastic bags of garbage?? were visible on the grounds. Stay away from the motel across the road....it...

I can't comment on the rooms because I never got past the registration desk. The "resort" is in the worst part of town. When I pulled up there was a group of what looked like homeless men standing around a bonfire next door drinking. I drove through the grounds and what a dump! The picture of the tennis court on...

We came here to stay for a night from WPB. The closeness to downtown was good. Our room was clean, had A/C and a nice outside porch overlooking a lake with fish and turtles (considered the resort's pets - I thought this was nice since it is a pet friendly property). The place is peaceful most of all, especially when...

Complimentary kayaking, private little cottages, great pool and beautifuly maintained property and foliage. The fountains trickle water into the acre fresh water lake making any noise of traffic melt away, also wonderful afternoon napping with the breeze coming through French doors on...

Very nice Lil resort, right in downtown. Great to see an older place like this around and well kept. Quiet and peaceful. Pool was clean, clean rooms...Staff was fantastic thank you all for a nice stay, we will be back. Avoid the pizza place unimpressed.

If you want to experience a bit of history, i.e., in it's hey-day (built in 1946) it must have been a fabulous hotel, try the Rock Lake Resort. We requested and paid "too much" for a little cabin that was clean. This recommendation, i.e., "clean" and close to downtown Fort Myers are the only good points. The website and photo...

A relaxing place to stay for a few days and met our needs quite well. Nice woodland around the lake and not too far from other Fort Myers amenities. Loved watching the fish in the lake from the patio while having breakfast.
