We spent the last week of April at the Dolphin Inn, in Room #10. The room itself is not we expected--far more worn out and dated than we would have thought. There were a few problems that could easily be fixed which would readily change our rating from a 2 to a 5. 1. The coffee maker was a one-serving...

The other reviews are so accurate. Definitely not a high class hotel, but for the price it is just what we expected and already made reservations for a future stay. It was quiet, friendly and laid back. We loved the pool and the beach access was easy. Would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler who is not uptight. Close...

We stayed for a week in late March. We had a poolside room (one of three different room configurations/levels) and it was very nice. One of the two beds had been upgraded with a pillow top, but the other was very hard and firm. I mentioned it to Travis and the next day there was a brand new memory foam...

We spent a few nights here and quite enjoyed it. Many people return year after year and love it and the laid back friendly kind of place it is. Other guests were friendly and there was no noise at night which was great. The owner is very friendly and seems to have plans to upgrade some of the suites which...

I have stayed at this hotel on four different times and will go back again. Travis, the hotel's owner/manager will personally see that your needs are met and your stay in Fort Myers is a complete satisfaction. I always request 13 B which is on the second floor and overlooks the bay. Is this the Ritz no, is this a...

The Dolphin Inn was the perfect location for part of our honeymoon in late September. A short drive along the coast from the busier area of Fort Myers Beach it was the perfect distance to be near by everything but have the peace and quiet. The hotel was clean and Travis and his family were lovely. We had a room...

This is a family hotel, four couples stayed there a few of month ago, the rooms are clean and according to the price, the pool is clean, they have BBQ in the back that customer can use it, the most important thing is that the owner treats you as part of a big family and also provides good hint to...

First, the dolphin inn us not a beach resort or high class hotel. It is a simple, comfortable, clean inn that is located in a more quiet area of Estero Island. There is a large outdoor pool (with a deep end, 8 feet, which is rare!!) A ton of lounge chairs surrounded by foliage (palms, etc). The establishmegavent has only...

With its own dock on one side and 50 yards to a beautiful beach on the other this was a great place to stay. Plus a biggish heated pool with plenty of seating and sun beds and, eating places and supermarkets nearby. We stayed four nights in a poolside ground floor room which was really a studio apartment with two...
