An amazing experience!!!, truly a hidden gem. It was walking distance from points of interest; downtown, restaurants, parks, etc.... The staff was just great, they made us feel right at home and accommodated us in any way possible. We just loved it!!! The property is beautiful; quiet and nature oriented. It inspired a beautiful sense of tranquility and peace. Just...

It was everything I imagined it to be! The house was wonderful. The property was alot bigger then I expected, but that made it more exciting! I will definitely stay at their B&B whenever I am in Gainsville, it made my visit to UF less stressful and much more fun!

This house and property is amazing, what the owners have done with place is simply a site to see. Very hospitable and the stories of this gem were interesting and informative about the area. This is what a bed and breakfast should be all the modern tech (if you need it) and the coziness of old world living if you...

This is the most amazing hidden GEM! The staff would bend over backwards to make your stay the most amazing experience you have ever had! A five star resort would NOT have been better! To top it off like a cherry on your sundae you can take your 4 legged family members! Our dogs thought they were on a very...

Headed through Gainseville on a business trip. The hotel/motel selections were limited and it was a pleasure to find a historic district in Gainesville with a good number of Bed and Breakfast to choose from. Magnolia Plantation is a 5 acre assembly of the Historic Baird House CIRCA 1885 and seperate cottages. It was purchased and restored in 1990 by...

The Magnolia Plantation grand Victorian main house is lovely, with the old photographs and memorabilia enhancing its allure. The cottages are quaint and comfortable, with each having a different name and character. The daily breakfast is chef-quality and varies each morning. The evening wine and snack offering is a nice treat. The historic accommodations are roomy, clean and comfortable. The...

Stopped for the night with my dog just in time for a warm welcome and offers of wine. Can't beat the classic bed and breakfast experience. Will stay again for sure. Stayed in the stand alone house two bed room.

We stay here whenever we visit Gainesville. It's quiet, relaxing, shaded and peaceful. It feels like home. We like the pet friendly cottages though we often don't bring our dogs. It's nice to have the option and the privacy is wonderful. Breakfast is always exceptional!

Spent a weekend here, pics do not do it justice! We brought our bikes and biked to restaurants and bars, only few blocks away. Stayed at Jessica's cottage, great private courtyard and mini house. Super dog friendly, great place for a weekend getaway! Cindy and Joe were great host.

My family was up visiting for my cousin's wedding and I always travel with my 2 little dogs. They were very accommodating. Several of us booked different cottages and they were all amazing, clean, and comfy! We thoroughly enjoyed our nights rocking on the porch and my dogs hung out with us the whole time. Great place and extremely friendly...
