This is what B&Bs should be like. If only I had figured out that it was necessary to pull the shower knob (instead of turning and turning it) I would have had no problems at all, but that's my fault. Very, very nice.

My wife Kim and I were very pleased with our recent stay at the Camellia Rose Inn B&B. The place was very clean. Everything worked. Everyone that worked there was friendly, pleasant and helpful. We very much enjoyed all the other guests, many of which were returning guests. That will be us next time we are visiting Gainesville (a returning...

Our room was very comfortable and well-appointed. My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast followed by relaxing time spent rocking on the front porch chairs before our event-filled day. The location was very convenient to downtown and the University of Florida campus. Pat made us feel welcome and we look forward to visiting the Camelia Rose Inn again.

My first time in Gainsesville and the best experience I have ever has with a B&B. Super clean( I am so picky) and a very courteous owner . This was not a pleasure trip but the Camillia Rose Inn made it as comfortable as possible. A really nice place for couples or a houseful of friends. Very much hoping my...

I had never been to Gainesville before so I asked my husband if we could stop there on our way up to Hilton Head. He told me that there was no reason to stop there because there was nothing there! But I sensed that if we stayed in a B&B in the historic area instead of some nameless chain Hotel...

I've only stayed at a B&B one other time - it will now be my FIRST choice when traveling. The Camellia Rose Inn was beautifully appointed and updated (great big bathroom!), the breakfast was delicious (different each day), they had convenient parking, and they are SO close to downtown - maybe a 7 min walk. I went to UF 20...

We were in Gainesville for a wedding in early September. We enjoy the area's lovely B&B's and had been wanting to try the Camilla Rose Inn. It's beautiful on the outside and we were thrilled to find it was every bit as wonderful on the inside! We stayed in an out building called Spat's Hideaway. We had seen the pictures...

The Camellia Rose Inn is a gem of a place, and we really enjoyed staying there. Tom and Pat are wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. I knew we had chosen well when we arrived and quickly learned that everyone else staying, stay every game weekend, and have for a long time. The Inn is conveniently located...

My family was in dire straits when, after the hurricane passed over Gainesville, there was no power for our RV at the state park we'd booked. By pure luck, we reached Pat at 8:00pm. She welcomed us in to her lovely house and we felt like we had walked in to friend's happy home! I was so impressed with our...

I prefer to stay at Camellia Rose over any other property in Gainesville. I think it's because of the innkeepers; Patricia & Tom. They are awesome. But it could also be the delicious breakfast, or the daily fudge brownies, or it could be the daily wine and cheese party. Or it could be the refrigerator full of free cold drinks,...
