My wife and I stayed over Easter Weekend and were a bit disappointed overall. Lamp did not work in our room nor did the A/C work properly. Front desk told us he'd look into it but nothing was done. Tom at the front desk always head in headphones which was very annoying and disrespectful to guests trying to speak to...

This Inn has a great deal of character and is of considerable architectural interest. Sadly, the rooms are very tired looking. I stayed in two different rooms on consecutive nights, and each had drawbacks; lighting was poor, beds uncomfortable and bathrooms inadequate. Breakfast was a big disappointment; an egg dish was available, but there was a very poor fruit salad,...

The location is excellent.Close to the beach and plenty of great restaurants. Gulfport is a small town reminiscent of an old hippy beach town. Bed was comfy and sheets and towels were soft and welcoming. Staff was helpful when asked. The breakfast was very good although our stay was 10 days and we would have appreciated a little variety. The...

Very nice breakfasts provided with one warm egg dish each morning, fruit, breads/toast, juice, etc. Lovely service... staff was always available and ready to help. Room was adequately large and well maintained. Ours had an attached sitting room as well. Bed was very comfortable. Very convenient location to the Gulfport Casino and beach. Many restaurants within walking distance. About a...

This was our second stay at the inn and we expect to have many more down the road. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are not fancy, but have that classic feeling like staying at grandmas. We love the quirkyness of Gulfport. There's no other place like it. Great food, interesting shops, nice uncrowded beaches, the historic...

The Historic Peninsula Inn in Gulfport is a time travel adventure back to the 1940s. The hotel is atmospheric, well kept, and evocative of times long past, as is Gulfport itself. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast excellent, the staff charming and helpful. The in house restaurant, Isabelles, has gourmet level dishes at reasonable prices. This is not a Marriott...

Had a lovely stay for a few nights. The Inn, like the city of Gulfport, is a little quirky, and that is part of the charm of both. It's not a Marriott, it feels like your great-Aunt's home, a little creaky in some spots, but lots of nooks to sit & read, and lots of reading materials laying about. Not...

My husband and I traveled to Gulfport for a one night getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The inn was pleasant and comfortable, but our room was noisy. Located on the 3rd floor (Irian Jaya) was fine for us, but we must have been right above where the restaurant staff congregate after hours. Fortunately, the AC noise covered it up. Don't...

Went for Brunch on Sunday. Arrived just as they were seating people. We were the second table to be seated and first to order. It took 45 minuets get our food. Menu says brunch comes with fruit and pastry plate. Had to ask waiter twice before it came. Short rib hash was tasty but lukewarm. Eggs over easy were fine....
