Someone referred to Continental Beachside as Paradise, how right they were!!! The property is just beautiful and it's so nice to walk right out onto the beach and look at the magnificent Atlantic!! The condo we stayed in, #9 was so comfortable and nicely decorated - you really feel like you're in the keys! The kitchen was well stocked and made it so easy for us to make some meals in and eat under the tiki on the beach! They also have grills that are cleaned daily, what a plus! One of our best vacations ever - thank you Continental Beachside!!!

Unit #9 is a comfortable, serenely decorated condo which we thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend to anyone interested in going to Key Colony Beach. We arrived stressed and left a week later refreshed and tan. We walked the beach, chatted on the beach with friends, enjoyed local music, and visited our turtle friends at The Turtle Hospital and sponsored a turtle for another year of care. We also explored local restaurants and shops - bellies and bags left full and happy. The staff who took care of our VRBO unit was attentive and very pleasant. We made reservations with the staff to return again, and our adult children will join us as well, as they enjoy having their own Continental Inn Beachside condo's to relax and unwind. A wonderful piece of paradise. Don't miss it!

My wife and I were in unit #29 for a long weekend. We needed a little get away before my mother-in-law comes to spend the winter with us. The room was spotless and had absolutely everything you would need, including beach towels. The kitchen was a kitchen! It included coffee maker, blender, toaster. The unit was nicely decorated. The bed was great, very comfortable.
Unit #29 is only a few steps from the clean sandy beach, which included lounges, umbrellas, tiki hut, barbeque grill. It was so nice to wake up to the sunrise every morning. The weather was perfect, the water was flat calm.
It is very close to restaurants, groceries, Aquarium Encounters. You are also very close to Dolphin Research Center, and the Turtle Hospital.
It was very quiet and relaxing, just what we needed. We were glad to find this hidden gem of the Florida Keys.

I researched accommodation in the Keys for many weeks whilst putting our Florida road trip together. I struck gold with #41 Continental Inn at Key Colony - it was perfect and exactly what I was hoping for. We had a beautiful, clean 2 bedroom apartment with 2 large beds in each bedroom; the right size when travelling with teenagers! The bathroom was spotlessly clean and beach towels were also provided. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed and a lovely seating area. The area was quiet at night with no passing traffic or road noise. The beach area was gorgeous; we loved sitting at the beach in the early morning with a cup of coffee, watching boats leaving and pelicans diving. The sea was calm and clean and where everyone gathered for a friendly chat. Sunset Park is just a 2 minute walk away and a beautiful spot to watch the sunset and meet other residents. I was delighted to have found the Continental Inn, which was the perfect base to explore the Florida Keys.

We stayed in Unit 27 Continental Inn Beachside and it was the best equipped condo we have ever experienced, right down to the chip clips! Owners have anticipated what you might need and enjoy during your stay, with lots of personal touches and all of the comforts. We wanted to experience the Keys from A to Z so the centralized location was perfect for our excursions. On the days when we stayed put, their beach was super convenient, beautiful, and had just the right vibe.

Was the perfect week! Accompanied by perfect weather, this place was the perfect getaway for a relaxing and peaceful vacation. We stayed in room 9 - two doors from the beach and everything you need. Perfect! Each room at the Inn is different and priced differently. Pricing is competitive because it's not a hotel. So search around. I found that "Continental Inn Beachside" was more competitive in pricing. I'm already booked for next year.

The Continental Inn was the most beautiful, serene, and wonderful place for me and my family to stay for our first visit to the Florida Keys! My husband and I searched quite extensively for the perfect place to stay. My husband and I were impressed with the photos of the unit and booked quickly. Upon arriving and entering the unit, we were greeted with an impressively clean and truly beautiful resort. The pool was inviting and the property was stocked with fun pool necessities along with immediate access to the beach and ocean where my husband and daughter went snorkeling and had the uttermost blast! The unit was already cool and smelled so good! I am a very fussy person when it comes to cleanliness and this unit was amazing! It was everything the pictures showed and would definitely book with them again on a return trip to a small slice of Heaven!

Our stay in no.9 was terrific! The room was super clean and comfy. Our kitchen was well equipped with all the dish ware and cooking gear needed. You can tell the host definitely thinks about what their guests may need. The bathroom is kept very fresh, I looked forward to using the beautiful shower every day haha. I loved our little patio too, it was very peaceful and quiet. I honestly could have stayed there another 3 weeks! The Inn offers such a special experience, and the views are amazing. I can't wait to go back!

We rented an ocean front studio condo steps from the beach through Airbnb (#30). Kimm was a perfect host and her place was impeccably clean and appointed with everything guests need for a beach stay (including fully stocked kitchen and beach towels). Plenty of places to sit and lounge inside and out, the bed was awesome, and the place has recently been remodeled. The vibe was very chill and guests enjoyed sunrises, sunsets, swimming, reading, grilling out, and gathering on the beach, which had plenty of lounge chairs and two large tiki huts with tables for shade and meals. There was a pool but we didn’t use it because we prefer the ocean, which was about 10 steps from our room. We snorkeled 3 out of our 4 day trip and saw unbelievably beautiful corral and fish at Sombrero Reef and Looe Key. We also kayaked the mangroves at Sombrero Beach and did an easy day trip to Key West. The Continental Inn is perfectly situated to do all of these things, and it’s a bonus to be next door to Sunset Park. We’ll be back!

Great inside the room. The outside needs some updating. Great private beach with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and tikis. They provide grills on the beach area for guests. Our room had two queen beds, a full kitchen and an updated bathroom. There was enough parking area.

Hello, they do have quiet time after 7:00 pm so please do not let the infant cry too loudly after that time of the management will get very angry. Also no, they have no cribs. I was told they are “not a nursery” and to bring our own.
Hello! As you can see on their website no dogs allowed. Not even service animals. So if you need service for your disability please go elsewhere as they do not want to see you with a dog and they will trespass you.
Hi! There isn’t a washer dryer per unit, however there are 2 washers and 2 dryers on property. The machines only take quarters, I think it’s $1.50 to wash and dry. They sell small boxes of Tide and Bounce dryer sheets at the front desk😊

I visited on 30th April, that was post Irma too, Continental Inn & nearby places are in proper shape, restaurants,snorkeling trips etc all working well. Only one thing that was effected at my time was that one part of Sombrero beach was totally closed. Thats it.
There are more places to choose from in the Key Colony Beach area.
