I went to the Perry Hotel last year with a family member and we loved it so much that we went back a second time recently. The resort is beautiful, very modern, very clean and with a lot of amenities; the balconies attached to each room are quite large with a roof over them to give you a bit of shade when relaxing outside of your room. I could go on and on about all of the amenities at the resort but the secret sauce is their staff. I would like to give a special thank you to the following people: Chris Cervantes, one of the managers at the Perry who went above and beyond to make sure we had the room we wanted and continued to follow up with us during our stay -- he is a perfect example of exemplary customer service. Nathan, who works at the pool and was always lending a helping hand helping my family member in and out of the pool. He even had a cool washcloth on the pool railing so my family member wouldn't burn their hands (how's that for customer service?) and last but not least was Ashwyn who works at the front desk; he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. It's a very short shuttle ride from the resort downtown so you really get the best of both worlds at the Perry. They have 3 restaurants on premises and 2 bars; many of the hotels in the area do not have near that amount. Did I mention the pool? We love the pool; there is nothing more relaxing then being in their pool and listening to the daily live music they have at the resort. We love this resort so much we are planning on going back again soon. Anyone that vacations in Key West knows that there are a lot of choices with regards to hotels but you won't find a better resort than the Perry. Once you go to the Perry you'll fall in love with it too!

While I’m a local My family was staying at the Perry during this week’s visit. We heard there was trivia on Wednesdays so we decided to have dinner at Matt’s kitchen then head over to the Bar in the lobby. A woman named Bronte was hosting and welcomed us in and also told us the happy hour specials. She was awesome at giving all the guests around the room information and some attention while ensuring everyone heard the rules and questions. The game was holiday themed and so much fun. Dinner was pretty pricey and the drinks not on happy hour were also very expensive but the holiday themed game, drinks and music was worth the hour of trivia fun. We also loved taking family photos in the lobby with the beautiful Christmas tree. I’d definitely say we had a fantastic time tonight and would love to come back for trivia as a local even after my family leaves this weekend. I think maybe bring some friends next time but suggest a local discount on drinks or dinner would be nice.

A week to get away, and this was a wonderful spot. My wife found this after reading all kinds of reviews. I also wrote a review on another travel site, but while we were actually at the property. The check-in process was very simple. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed right off the bat. We stayed in a king-sized room on the 2nd floor. The room was very spacious. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the room smelled clean. The floors are tile, which I'm sure contributes to the ease of keeping the hotel clean. The bathroom was also spacious with plenty of room, not feeling like you're crammed in a closet to shower and shave. Emily, one of the staff members, was a rock star and was so good to us during our stay! We loved her! The hotel has three places to eat on site. We tried two of the three. A bit on the expensive side, but, it's Key West, so expected. There are also two pools on the property. I watched the staff clean and care for the pool daily in the mornings. There is also on-site security during the night. I watched the female walk around the property numerous times while we were there, so I felt comfortable with where our car was parked. The only cons I could find were, one; this is a pet friendly hotel. We missed that when booking. We LOVE dogs and have two of our own, but being awakened in the mornings to our neighbor's dog barking was a bit much. I don't go on vacation to hear someone else have their dog's bark. Secondly, I'm not sure of the marijuana laws in FL, but our neighbor was constantly on the balcony smoking it. My problem with Mary Jane is the smell. It was bad enough that we didn't get full use of our balcony because it became overwhelming at times. The dividers between the rooms on the second and third floor are such that air does not move well across the balcony, so the smell lingered for a long time without benefit of the breeze to blow it away. Other than those cons, this was a great place to stay, and we agreed we'd come back for another stay in the future. It's close to downtown Key West, but far enough away that it's quiet and comfortable. Worth a look if you're heading to KW!

I wish I could give more than a 5-star rating to The Perry. This was one of my favourite hotel stays ever. From the moment we checked in and were greeted by Katrina's friendly face and given a glass of champagne we fell in love with The Perry. Our room was spacious and stylish, the bathroom was gorgeous with a huge shower and we had a nice balcony overlooking the marina to watch the sunrise. The bed was super comfy and the room was immaculate. We ate a all 3 restaurants on site - the Salty Oyster has the BEST Shrimp Po Boy and Pasta Salad. Matt's was nice to have for breakfast and happy hour at Bad Boy Tacos was awesome - the duck confit taco at the happy hour price cannot be beat. Every staff member we interacted with was wonderful, especially the friendly face at the pool (sorry I can't remember his name!). The resort fee is standard but honestly, the free shuttle into town alone makes it worth it! The shuttle is prompt, dropping you off right in the perfect location to explore. The shuttle drivers are also friendly and open to give their recommendations to do in town. There are two pools - one is super quiet and chill, near Bad Boy while the other is where the action is with poolside service from the Salty Oyster. The grounds are well-kept, the lobby and the bar are a nice place to chill with board games and very cool decor. Like most of Key West you'll hear the roosters in the AM but honestly staying here made me want to wake up early every morning to make the most of each day. I hope to return next time I am lucky enough to find myself in Key West!

This property is a must see and stay, offering so much right at your fingertips. Among the many excursions to take part in, we enjoyed the golf cart rental and the snorkling sunset sailboat yacht cruise, which was "simply amazing". The beautiful Marina is an excellent backdrop to both pools and walking areas. The entire Perry staff is really kind and friendly from the front desk to the hardworking housekeeping personnel. The Perry is in a great location in my opinion being just over on Stock Island, with just a short shuttle ride to the Southernmost Point and all other locations that Key West is known for. The Key West Chamber of Commerce was very helpful while planning our trip and also mailed us a paper map beforehand to get an idea of the area prior to our arrival. The Perry Hotel and Marina was a wonderful, relaxing, and enjoyable stay!

I am not sure what all the hype is about this property. It is clean and modern. Johnny was friendly and was able to book us on the hop on/off trolley. He greeted lots of guests as they left and returned to the hotel. The rest of the staff could use some training from him. The shuttle drivers were timely and clearly worked for tips. The shuttle to downtown Key West took about 15-20 min. This resort is overpriced and they add on fees for everything. We stayed 2 nights and had $150 added for resort fees and parking. We made the mistake of eating breakfast at the hotel and had a server who was not interested in providing timely service. The food was average at best and when the bill came there was already a 20% surcharge added. We stayed in the offseason and ended up paying over $400 a night with all the extra fees and community fees added. This was not a good value and I would suggest staying elsewhere.

I chose Perry because of its location and other amenities and to be able sit out on a balcony early morning with coffee and enjoy the marina however the Palm trees in front of our balcony which was room 251 on the second floor were so tall that a clear unobstructed view of the marina was not possible.
THANK YOU to Jayme for his customer service in trying to find us a marina room on the 3rd floor where the palm trees did not block view but none were available and for recommending on property Bad Boy Taqueria & Tequila, where I had a delicious lobster tacos, Joseph and his wife who worked the reception desk in the evening who were from my state of Ohio for their enthusiasm and positive vibes, Billy the nicest shuttle driver ever who dropped us off at the grocery store and picked us back up timely , and last but not least Brandon the waiter at Matts Stock Island Kitchen & Bar who accommodated my request to be moved from an outside patio table that I chose to sit at because the chickens were hopping up on the table to join the guest for breakfast to an inside table where I was able to have a yummy quiet breakfast my last day at Perry.
Bottom line we completely enjoyed our stay at Perry and would certainly consider returning but will definitely request marina view room on the 3rd floor.

Really beautiful hotel on the marina, very modern and tastefully decorated. The rooms are very nice, sparkling clean and well thought out. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel has two restaurant options, very nice pool areas as well as a small block of boutique shops on the marina. Dog friendly which is awesome! They have a shuttle that runs every half hour until 11pm to take you into Duval street which is very helpful as parking in town is a little scarce. Pricing at the main restaurant is fairly expensive but also what you would expect for the location and quality of the hotel. I’d definitely recommend as a great option if visiting key west .

We have been fans of Perry Key Hotel and Marina since it opened. We spent two winters (21 and 22) on our boat in the marina and used the hotel facilities (restaurants, bars, shuttle service to Key West,etc). Recently (June 2024) we spent 3 nights in a pool side second floor king room for an anniversary. The room, while clean with great A/C, was sparsely furnished and did not have enough comfortable seating. There was one slingback chair and a desk chair. Not comfortable for relaxing. The large balcony had a round dining table and two chairs and it was large enough to have one or two lounge chairs for relaxation and a beautiful view. Most disappointing were the pool side lounge chairs that were so uncomfortable that I could not stay long in one position. They had a rope netting that hurt to lay on and a metal bar in the middle of the chair that created discomfort. We did have a nice breakfast at Matt's Stock Island Restaurant but the total was $49 for two entrees and one orange juice and a 20% service fee is automatically added. Along with the $25 per day parking fee and the high price of the rooms I just did not feel that there was value for my money (and I know that Key West is expensive) and we decided that we will not return.

This was our first time to Key West, and this was one of our best trips ever. The hotel was awesome and a great location to get away from the crowd.
The staff was amazing especially Johnny, who helped schedule a seaplane trip to Dry Tortugas, and a sandbar trip that allowed us experience the beautiful waters of Key west and Nathan did a great job maintaining the pool area and keeping it spotless. We also spent a day at Bahia Honda state park beach and this was another great beach to visit
The restaurants at the Perry were great, but you also have to try the Breakfast Club too, Hogfish bar&grill, No name pub, and Taco express.
We will definitely be back and appreciate everything that The Perry had to offer.
