While I have not stayed in any other hotel in Kay West, I can not imagine any better one than the Marquesa. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was attentive. Housekeeping was accommodating. The pool setting is gorgeous.

Here for 3 nights, sadly wished it had been more. Beautifully restored wooden clapperboard style building. We had a junior suite, tastefully decorated, large bathroom with twin sinks and a shady secluded porch where we are breakfast every morning.

Yes, there are two. The nicest is Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. It is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel and has chaise lounges for rent, nice shade trees and a concession stand. There is another much smaller one, located at the Gulf of Mexico and the end of Simonton Street, that is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. It has a limited service concession stand also. Hope this helps!
