Unique and lovely bed and breakfast, great and quite location right in the middle of Old Town. We were impressed by the outdoor area that has a nice pool, great breakfast area, and a sun deck. We stayed for three nights in room 14, which is located all the way in far corner of the property. Our room had a...

Location is great; but parking is a challenge. Prepare to stroll for an available space, 1-2 blocks away. Internet is another challenge, bring bug spray, since you may need it during the rainy season, just to access the outdoor common areas, to check email.

First night, gave us a room with a loud air conditioner, hard to sleep, and people at about 2AM were splashing in the pool. Did complain, was given a room in a quiet area and better air conditioner. Breakfast was a nice surprise, offering fruit, beverages, different baked goods, muffins and hard boiled eggs, scrambled, on two of the mornings...

We recently stayed at the Heron House and had a very bad experience. Everything from my phone call to make the reservation (booking on-line is next to impossible) and getting them to answer the phone is quite the accomplishment. I booked our room 6 months in advance and was charged $120.00 per night for the same room category more than...

Great location. Place needs to be renovated. When I made the reservation they told me my room was renovated in the last few months... hardly. What they tried to say is they bought a new bedspread and wall air conditioner. The mis-matched tile in the bath was "newer" but the rest was tired. Breakfast was terrible. The mattress was horrible...

We were greeted upon arrival to this beautiful property centrally located on Simonton Street. We took the boat so we arrived around 1pm and check in isn't until 3pm however to our surprise our room was ready! This was great - we could change, regroup and head out for adventures. The pool was very nice and complimentary breakfast was a...

Our vacation began with an awsum welcome by Andy. He is friendly and truly accommodating. Our room was delightful and in a great location. The room was large enough and the bathroom was lovely. I highly recommend staying at Heron House. It is a few minutes walk to old town. The continental breakfast isn't the greatest but then they rarely...

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days in March. It was very relaxing, nice pool, only a couple blocks from the heart of Duval Street, but, very quiet and private. We stayed in one of the special suites with private balcony - it was very nice and spacious. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The...

I might have to stop reading reviews from fellow TripAdvisors! So many times I read bad reviews about a place before I visit and get worried if I made a terrible booking. Then 90% of the time I find nothing to complain about. Maybe humans just like to complain. The staff at the Heron House are the friendliest I have...
