Relax In Old Town Key West! The Eden House's first priority has been to maintain a clean inn, offer a comfortable bed, reasonable rates and have a staff that cares. Next comes the heated pool and Jacuzzi, hammocks, porch swings, waterfalls, sundeck, free off-street parking, café and lush gardens. We will have a cold drink for you at check-in and our daily complimentary 'happy hour' is poolside. Then at 10 PM we will dim the lights and let you get a good nights rest. Our night staff will not put a mint on your pillow but they will walk the grounds to insure that you won't be disturbed. I have owned and managed the Eden House for 27 years. I like to think that my staff and me do the 'little' things that will make your stay in Key West a memorable one. Key West is notorious for it's nightlife. Whether it is a sunset sail, a snorkel or kayak trip or deep water and flats fishing, the waters of the Florida Keys are like no other. Just let us know when you want to go.Grab a good book and a drink and I'll see you in the hammock area.

My husband and I booked a porch swing deluxe and were 100% happy with this resort. The rooms are on the smaller size but for the price and location of this hotel you cannot beat it in KW. My husband especially loved the happy hour everyday it was a nice touch to our stay! Parking was as expected but we never had issues finding it on the street if the lot was full! Def felt very safe as everyone was masked when indoors and all employees were always seen with one. Avoid the restaurant next door the portions are small for the price! We will def be back Eden house!

I loved the Eden House and will stay there again when I return to Key West. The location is fantastic, you can walk everywhere. They do provide free parking if you drive to Key West, but we found no need to drive anywhere on Key West. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. We loved the heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, which are open 24 hours. It was always very quiet, but fortunately you could swim at 10 pm after returning from dinner, which was fantastic. So many places close their pools at 6 pm or at darkness. Our room was perfect - we had the most basic room - but the shower, toilet and sink are each located separately in the room, so it is easy for 2 people to get ready. That was a wonderful feature for 2 people sharing a room. They provide towels for the pool, so there is no need to bring y our own beach towels. The room was small, but was very well set up and nicely decorated. There is also a nice sun deck and a swinging chair for everyone to use. You can rent a room with your own swinging chair if you'd like. We used the public chair, and it was very rarely in use.

We stayed for two nights at Eden House in 109. We were kind of shocked at how small our room was, but I have to say it was very clean. When we arrived, our room was ready at 1 pm, and we parked our car in one of the spaces in the parking lot and never moved it for two days. We were greeted by the friendly lady at the front desk, who offered us a wine or beer. The location of Eden House is perfect! It’s only about six blocks to Duval Street, so we walked everywhere! The pool was warm as well as clean, and the hot tub was wonderful. Happy hour at the tiki bar each night was much appreciated! Next time, we’ll try to get a larger room, but all in all, everything was nearly perfect.

We stayed at the Eden House in Key West. I thought I booked a room with a queen size bed. We got a small room with a full size bed and a toilet in a small closet sized room. It was very clean. We got moved into a bigger room for the second night with a queen size bed and a full bathroom. There was a tinted window on the hallway side of the room. The hallway light was on all night so the room was not dark. The laundry room was very close to our room so got to listen to the washer and dryer all night. The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Being in Key West, parking is a premium.

Don’t waste your hard earned money and vacation time on this place. It is way worse in terms of cleanliness and room amenities than many roadside motels I’ve stay at and is super overpriced.

I had originally booked a deluxe queen room with a porch which smelled like urine and was right on top of the hot tube/pool with the porch being the furthest thing from private. I begged the guy at the front desk for any other room so we could have a smidge of privacy or quiet. He moved us to a regular room which at least didn’t smell as badly and was on the second floor with the only windows facing the walkway.

Please see the real photos of a room as the ones the hotel uses are clearly not the average room and we saw two. The shower and sink and bed are all in a tiny room. There is a closet which has just a toilet in it. There was mold on the pictures and dirty handle to the toilet closet. The shower light had what looked to be rodent dropping in it. The two star are solely due to the patience of the guy at check in and his manager with allowing us to move rooms and then allowing us to check out after 1 night and refund the rest of our stay. We ended up paying much more for a last minute stay elsewhere but did not regret it at all.

We've visited Key West on cruises in the past and have always wanted to visit for a few days. When we first started researching options we suffered a bit of sticker shock with the cost of vacation rentals/hotels in Key West. Our next challenge was availability or the lack thereof, which explains the high price tag. Eden House had fantastic reviews and did have one private room for the "budget traveler" available the dates we wanted so we took it. We loved the location, very walkable to everything. We simply parked our car for 3 days and ventured out, walking along blocks of lovely historic homes. Restaurants, bars, attractions were all in close proximity. The grounds of Eden House are pristine, the pool area is very zen like, especially when the waterfall is on. We enjoyed the happy hour and the bartender was very friendly. We also really appreciated the water cooler and the freshly brewed cold tea every day. With respect to the room we had, I mentioned "budget" and that it was. When we opened our door, the bed was right there inside the door next to the window. The room was tight, very little space for us to have both of our suitcases open and not a lot of room to move around in, especially as the sink was in the room. That being said, it was clean and the bed was very comfy. The rating of 4 is because of the room as it really wasn't sufficient for our needs however I would love to stay here again in a larger room.

This was our first time at Eden House. It is a boutique hotel that is essentially in a residential area but you do not feel Iike you are in a residential area. The landscaping and tree coverage makes you feel like you are at a mini resort. You don’t know that there are surrounding houses. The pool area and outdoor bathroom is clean. They have towel service and sunscreen for free. Plenty of loungers. Hot Tub was nice for relaxing after dinner. Location is walkable to Duvall Street and even closer walk to the seaport area where there are multiple restaurants including the famous Cuban coffee queen, gift shops, a brewery, etc. If your into spring break with a middle age crowd go to Dante’s in the seaport area and wear your swimsuit. Outdoor bar, Pub food, lots of drinks, music, a large wading pool with an older crowd. Hotel Room was small but they are up front about this in the listing. The hardest part was no closet or dresser to put clothing. There are hooks on the wall but no dresser. We used the shelving around the tv As a makeshift dresser. They do have a variety of room sizes so if you require a larger room with more amenities they have them they just cost more. We had a room with a bathroom but I do believe the gentleman next door did not have a private bath so make sure you research that when you book. Staff was pleasant and professional. Had a wonderful time.

We just left the Eden House, we stayed there for two nights. It was a wonderful experience. The young lady at the check in desk, Widnaelle, was pleasant, friendly and helpful. We booked a small deluxe room and knew ahead of time it would be small. There were no bigger rooms a available on out first night but Widnaelle offered to show us a larger room if we wished to switch the second night. We ended up not switching but I will book a King Suite next time.
The hotel itself is spotless. The grounds are beautiful and the pool has a laid back relaxing vibe. They have free happy hour at the bar which is nice.
If you don’t feel like walking into town there is a bus stop outside the hotel. This free bus service runs every 15 minutes.
We will definitely stay here again

Great location, free coffee & water on tap, happy hour daily from 4-5pm, very pleasant staff, very clean guest house, rooms very adequate, lovely pool & jacuzzi, sun beds, tables & chairs by the pool, bike hire for just $12 a day & free guest Wifi. Short walk from the house to the main centre where there is a lot of shops/bars/restaurants. Waste of time hiring a car as everything is close especially when hiring the bikes.

Only thing missing was a room TV which would have been good when chilling in the room or when in bed at night.

The Hotel is great value for the money you pay which in the Keys you need a lot of as it’s a very expensive area of Florida to eat/drink & basically do anything.

I love this place. It is not fancy. The rooms are not huge. They are tidy and have everything you could need. Many of the rooms are quiet and secluded. Some have porches with swings. The staff are extraordinarily helpful with recommendations for places to eat, drink, visit. When we asked to move from a room next to the pool (a little noise) we received an upgrade for the inconvenience - no charge/hassle. If u want huge, generic rooms and activities - wrong place. If you want a place with rooms with an “Old Key West” vibe, without a lot of noise, with staff that are friendly and chill - go here.

No pets allowed. There also isn’t anywhere on property or nearby for your pet to relieve itself. You’re better off having your dog stay with family, friends or a boarding facility.

I'd take the free bus to downtown. It stops right by the Eden House, and is a circular route. Just be careful as numbered stops are skipped if there is construction on certain streets. Ask the conductor where to get back onto the bus -at what intersection or stop if that is the case .
