Great place. Have to realize key west is busy. Highway out front during feb break is busy. Hospitality during these times is by request only. When we request anything, they are there. Beautiful grounds and rooms. Only complaint is pool management. No rules. How long can you leave your chair empty? One hour? 1/2 hour? Only managed early? Many seats open in afternoon with no management. Just post the hours. Many have had towels and items removed with no warning. Great vaca tho.
We just finished a wonderful four day stay at Windward Point, Key West. The property is beautiful and clean. Excellent pool with a great little restaurant with awesome cocktails. There is a volleyball court, ping-pong, pool and shuffleboard. Everything needed for a fun day in the sun. The trip to downtown is a little under 4 miles and a very easy bike ride but Ubers are also very available. Highly recommend this location for I get away. Front desk staff highly accommodating as well.
Our stay this past Holiday Season was absolutely exceptional.Windward Pointe has very spacious grounds that are well maintained. The view from our porch allows us to see the pool and The Atlantic Ocean which in the morning gives us some spectacular views of the sun rises and evening color with the newly wrapped and lighted palm trees. The lighted palms allow this property to stand out above all others. The Covid protocols that are in place made our stay safe and comfortable. Our interactions with the staff was over the top.Rigel Marrero was top notch ! Any issues that arose with our room were handled quickly and professionally by not only Rigel but also Louise,Manny, and Ozzie. We just recently completed our two month stay at our favorite home away from home and have rebooked for this next December and January.…
We chose the HRC Windward due to the fact it is away from the craziness of Duval Street.... it was very quiet, except for an occasional airplane overhead (HRC is near the airport).... the grounds / pool / snack bar are wonderful. The room and grounds are immaculate... huge balcony - spent every morning on the balcony drinking coffee looking at the ocean! Totally wonderful.... If you are not a HRC timeshare member, they will try to entice you into a 3 hour presentation.... after I said NO twice, they left me alone. To see the major attractions, you must take a Taxi ($14 one way), rent a golf cart, or walk (3 miles to Duval St)..... I was disappointed that this high end Hyatt did not have a shuttle service. If you drive your POV, be advised parking in KW is very difficult and expensive! We opted to take a taxi most days.…
Very bad and unprofessional customer service by Jackson Majewski front desk manager!!!! I checked in and lady at the front desk took my ID and credit card for accidentals all went great. Next day I received a call that the card did not worked so he asked me to come back to provide another card. Before going there I checked my card and my card did get charged. I went and told them about even showed them my phone with the bank transaction and he ignored and told me that if I will not give him a card and that he will throw me from the property. I told him that he have a very bad customer services and instead of him to apologize, he told me that he hopes that I will not cause anymore problems. I was shocked!!! So I end up giving my card again, because I will not jeopardize my family new year vacation for some a-hole. I’m contacting Hyatt management to make sure that they will deal with him. On a bright side, the property and rooms are great!!! We staid couple of times before and all have been great. It’s like they saying, 1 bad thing or persons can ruin all of the good times. Customer service means a lot to any business and if there is none or very poor, you still will loose business, even if have have a great place bust personnel are unprofessional.…
