We booked Courtney's place to stay for my son's wedding, which was being held at the Hemingway Home (8 minute walk) There were several family members from both sides that had rooms booked.. We had unit 6, 2 bedroom 2 bath, and my son had unit 4..which was HUGE, each had a front porch and a back porch..both units were spotless, TV's in bedrooms and living area, refrigerators, stove, microwave.... All employees/owners were very knowledgeable and friendly. A continental breakfast is offered every morning, waffle iron, bagels, hard boiled eggs, fruit, coffee, danish, etc. you can't beat the location....takes 18 minutes to walk to Mallory Sq. It also has a pool, and a nice gathering spot with tables and a grill, and a bar (which you can use and provide your own drinks). it was so nice having all of us in the same hotel. Courtney's is a unique place, it's a perfect example of the real Key West, We will be returning. Look through their website, there is a unit size for everyone

I got a unit with a parking space that was a lifesaver in Key West. Bedroom was small with little storage but unit had a separate small kitchen and dining/sitting area. Kitchen has a mini fridge with a separate freezer, fridge. Has a small microwave. They provide dishes (awesome) but I noticed a sign the second day that the dishes go through the dishwasher but are not sanitized according to federal covid standards. I wish that sign was more visible upon arrival before I used the plates! Roosters wake you up at 3am and then again at 6:30am. Small unappetizing continental breakfast. Nice staff. Tiny but existent pool. Bed was sunken in the middle. Good location. Recommend “The Cafe” nearby. I am slightly allergic to many laundry detergents but their bedding did not make me allergic. Wifi connectivity kept disconnecting but worked ok except for having to connect multiple times. Kept birds in a cage near lobby - sad. Had bikes for rent which might be nice (I didn’t use them). Overall ok but super expensive. 3 nights, $1000. I would expect a personal parade and daily massage and included excursion for that price.

An amazing find - the hotels are really expensive in Key West & we were struggling to find something reasonable, then we discovered Courtney’s - a cosy corner in a really central location but feels very peaceful. There are chickens (lots of them, all over the island), cats and it’s a lovely place to sit in the courtyard and have your breakfast or a coffee. Internet drops out a lot but to be fair it’s a small island, the room was clean and nice touches, breakfast is mostly packeted bars, cereals etc which are great to grab if you’re going on an early snorkelling trip like we did. Great to have free parking in that location. Would return!

Courtney’s Place is charming! Family of 6 so we selected cottage #4: two bedrooms and a loft area with four beds plus full kitchen…plenty of room to spread out and the best part was a semi private back patio that leads to pool and a darling front porch that makes you feel like you could get used to living in Old Town. That back patio is perfect for morning coffee! The location of this property is the best part, tucked in a quiet Lane which is in the middle of Old Town and just a block from Duval. The staff is so friendly, they make you feel like you are a visiting friend! The pool is small but perfect for a dip and very refreshing. The courtyard surrounding pool with its flora and fauna makes you feel like you are in a local backyard at home relaxing Parking was always available and never a problem for our stay. We WILL be back!

I've emailed you 3 times to cancel my booking with you but you have not responded. As I said in my email, booking.com have advised that you are not prepared to refund my payment in full even though I cant travel due to an underlying health condition. You are also the only booking out of 5 that I'd planned to visit that refuses to do this. As you are not answering my emails can you explain on here please.

We stayed in C14 for 4 nights. Room was ready early and when the pack and play wasn’t working they brought a new one in. It was great to have a kitchen in the room for making meals (helps when traveling with a toddler). The staff was outstanding and room clean. This is not the Radisson but it was clean and comfortable. The price can’t be beat. The pool is very small and not heated but it was fine to put our feet in. The biggest positive for this place was how easy it was to walk to everything (except Smather’s Beach, you’d need a Lyft). I would definitely stay here again!
Side note- if you aren’t in Key West to party and want to enjoy ocean related activities etc don’t go during high season. It was way too cold! In the future when we visit it will be during their off season.

We recently returned from another stay at Courtney’s Place and as always had a great experience. This has to be our 9th or 10th stay. It’s like returning home. Courtney, Darryl and Debbie are so kind and efficient. This trip our room was ready early (which it has been a number of times in the past) so we had the bonus of getting in an extra day at Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park beach. There isn’t one thing we can say that is negative. Great breakfast, great location (we walk everywhere, no car needed), kind staff, clean and comfortable rooms, quiet and lovely pool.

We stayed at Courtney's on our very first trip to Key West this month and I will never even research another place to stay if I am lucky enough to go again. And I will recommend the heck out of this place to all my friends and family for sure. From the moment we arrived, we were family, period! Courtney, Daryl and all the staff made us feel at home. We stayed in the Cigar Maker's cottage with two bedrooms with great beds and pillows and awesome AC! We took full advantage of the lovely breakfast provided each morning on the patio right alongside Tequila the cockatiel, the resident cats and yes, the chickens! We used the delightful little pool several times and even rented our bikes directly from Courtney's. We were checked on numerous times by housekeeping making sure if we needed anything at all. We got great recommendations from Daryl like Santiago's Bodega (delicious! we walked there) and Simonton Beach ("local" and delightful!). Skip the big box places and find your super-central Key West home at Courtney's. And I almost forgot, we parked our rental car in Courtney's lot for four solid days and walked and rode bikes everywhere but one evening Uber to/from Cafe Sole.

We have been staying at Courtney’s Place in Key West for many years, generally going twice each year. We have nothing to say but GOOD things. Courtney and her staff are amazing, so friendly and kind and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We especially like the cottages off by themselves with efficiency kitchens but have stayed in many of the rooms near the pool area. The pool is always clean and relaxing. Pool towels are provide in your room. Each room has a mini refrigerator p, coffee pot and microwave. Since Covid they have begun having a few snacks available each morning but not their usual continental breakfast….which is understandable. The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds and linens. WiFi works well. We never rent a car, fly in and take a taxi from the airport then walk everywhere while there. Courtney’s Place is a short walk to Duval Street. And they will call an order a return taxi to the airport for your day of departure, all you need do is ask. There is a small parking lot but cars are not necessary if you want to walk or bike (rentals available onsite).If you are looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable and “real Key West” place to stay this is it. Not fancy but charming. Housekeeping service is also wonderful. We are a,ready planning our next trip “back home” to Courtney’s Place.

We have stayed four consecutive years at Courtney's Cottages, and we look forward to our annual visit. The cottages are spotlessly clean, well-stocked with towels, toiletries and coffee supplies. A continental breakfast is offered each morning by the grotto pool, and parking is available on site or in front of certain cottages. We rent bikes from Courtney's for the length of our stay. We have already rewarded our January 2023 trip, and we highly recommend C.C's for a traditional Key West accommodation experience.
