Our last visit was in 2008, four years later our 4th visit was even better than we remembered. We were warmly greeted by Rebecca and shown to the Garden Room, our favorite. At The Mermaid & The Alligator everything exceeds expectations. Delicious breakfasts (thank you Geri and Paul), afternoon wine and snacks and a lovely outside area to socialize with...

This place is a wonderful haven. Our little group had a very relaxing three days in the end of October. The B&B was so nice and cosy, we didn't want to leave. We stayed in the Key Lime room and the Papaya room. The rooms were kind of small by american standard but having a sound machine (who doesn't want...

Beautiful and clean accommodations. Lusciously decorated for the holidays. The grounds are a tropical paradise and it is in a prime location for old town Key West. The Garden Room was just exquisite. Dean, Paul, Rebecca and Geri were great hosts, provided wondeful breakfasts and held an awesome Christmas Parade party.

We are lucky to have just returned from a wonderful 10 night stay at this magical historic inn - sadly though as we could quite happily have stayed much longer, it felt like home. As everyone has said, the inn and gardens are beautiful, in fact we chose to be married there, by Geri who was superb, and with thanks...

We stayed here for 3 nights in the Caribbean room and loved it. Once you go into the backyard and experience the garden and sounds of the birds, you'll never want to leave and explore Key West. You will be very well taken care of while you are there and no request is a bother for them. The two 4...

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. The staff, house, grounds and location are fantastic. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We loved the location and had a lot of fun trying the local restaurants and biking around town. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first trip to Florida and Key West, and what a pleasant surprise to find this wonderful place nicelly located in the centre of Key West. Dean and his staff was so friendly and helpful regarding every need we had, and the calm and quiet atmosphere in the beautiful garden was very relaxing. The rooms are beautifully decorated...

As an Australian Key West had always been a bucket place for me...Mainly due to the fact that it's not your typical US big city and i'd always been curious to know what it looked like. A friend of mine who used to work on cruise ships had been and raved about it, So i knew on my latest trip...

We stayed for three nights in November and whilst the Setting of the B&B is beautiful we were not made to feel overly comfortable and felt a bit like we were intruding in the owners house when using the downstairs space. There are some lovely touches, for example the wine at 5pm and the breakfast was delicious. We had booked...

We’re sorry these guests felt a bit uncomfortable. We are there to offer assistance but not to intrude on a guest’s privacy or space and will always grant this if we feel that is what they are seeking. We are always happy to greet any guest who chooses to stop and chat, in fact we love to talk! The common...
