We had the absolute best stay at Marreros! The staff could not have been kinder, the accommodations were perfect. Everything was extremely clean, quaint, perfect location, exceptional recommendations from the hosts! The mansion itself has it all- quiet and peaceful porch to enjoy a delicious breakfast, as well as happy hour later in the day, or out by the secluded pool. We will absolutely be returning!!

This location is about the best you can get in Key West if you want to be close to Duval Street. We were within walking distance to everything except the beaches. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They bent over backwards to make sure our needs were met and our questions answered. The house was decorated perfectly for KW and our two queen bed room was very spacious. We loved having access to coffee, tea, and water 24/7. We loved being able to sit on the front porch to enjoy breakfast each morning. Speaking of breakfast, it was OK. Since there are no hot options, it leaves mostly carb-laden, bread/pastry choices. Some cold cuts and cheeses would have been nice options. Also, while I realize this wasn’t a hotel, I think if you’re staying beyond two nights, it would be a nice touch and say a lot about how highly guests are valued if the sheets were changed. It would also be nice if, at the very least, your trash cans were emptied each day and the towels changed out each day without having to ask or indicate with a door sign. I feel this should be an automatic service, especially for the high price of this lovely establishment. The “happy hour” was rudimentary with only basic wine and beer offered. A signature drink would’ve been memorable. Considering all of these things, I would recommend this place to others and stay again, IF its value matched the exorbitant price of the stay. They will have to up their game in the way of service and offerings if I am to pay, in total, approximately $600 per night, again. Location was everything; potential is there.

Our stay at Marrero's Guests Mansion was everything we had hoped for and more! From the moment we checked in to when we checked out we received nothing but exceptional service. Laura & Jayme at the front desk were so friendly and helpful with any questions we had prior to our stay and while we were there, they helped us book a tour and find a great place to rent bikes while we were there. They truly made us feel right at home and like we were family! The continental breakfast they provided was delicious and unlike anything we've gotten at any other hotel...while it's not your traditional set up, they had a good selection of local pastries (both sweet and savory) which I personally thought was a great way to showcase the local businesses around Key West. The complimentary Happy Hour was a nice touch as well when we did happen to be there during that time of the day and just wanted to enjoy the porch views.

We stayed in Room #9, which we absolutely loved! Not only was the room decor stylish and fun, but the room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed having a balcony right outside our room that overlooked the pool area and was able to be used as a "front" door to come in and out of our room when we wanted. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked great, water pressure in the shower was good and we were happy to have a mini fridge as well so that we could stash away waters and other snacks to have on hand during our trip. We would definitely recommend this room specifically for any future guests!

Another thing we loved most about this property is the fact that there were only 12 rooms, which never made the hotel feel crowded and gave it more of a community feel since we did tend to see the same guests throughout our stay, even making friends with some of them. Since my husband and I were traveling alone, it was also a bonus that the property is 21+ only so we did not have to deal with crowded pools of children splashing around and it kept the atmosphere of the hotel calm and relaxing.

Lastly but certainly not least, you could not beat this location! Everything seemed to be just a short walk or bike ride away. We were so close to the hustle and bustle of Duval but far enough away that we were never disturbed by the noise coming from it or the bars. There was also a CVS just around the corner which made it so convenient anytime we needed to grab snacks, drinks, sunscreen, you name it.

We have decided after this trip, due to our fantastic experience we will likely not stay anywhere else in Key West anytime we come to visit!

We discovered the best-kept secret in Key West! From the moment we booked our stay, the experience was seamless. We received text notifications confirming our reservation and another when our room was ready for check-in. The house itself is stunningly decorated, with comfortable beds and a peaceful outdoor pool oasis. The management has truly thought of every detail—complimentary waters and soft drinks are available in the parlor and by the pool, along with free sunscreen for guests.

The location is unbeatable, just a short 10-minute walk to Mallory Square and half a block from Duval Street. Jayme, one of the property managers, provided exceptional concierge service. Every recommendation she made was spot on, and she even gave us coupons for the places we chose to visit.

We’ll definitely be returning—there’s no reason to stay anywhere else in Key West!

My husband and I stayed at Marrero's Guest Mansion and loved it. This small boutique hotel in a historic building had so much charm. Our room (#1) was spacious, immaculately clean and beautiful. The guest services personnel were always kind and helpful. The location was perfect - close enough to the bustle of Duvall Street but on a side street so it was quiet and tranquil. We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to see. The pool was the perfect place for a relaxing dip in the afternoon, and the breakfast spread made for a relaxed morning. I would note to study the room details carefully when booking - due to the nature of the original building there appears to be a variety of room sizes with different accessibility levels. We loved Room 1 - spacious and easily accessible on the first floor. We will definitely stay there again if and when we return to Key West!

My husband and I visited Marrero's Guest Mansion last week and had the most incredible stay! From the moment you walk through the front door, you realize you are in a tropical paradise. The vibrant colors on the walls and in the front parlor and especially in our room, Number 9, really added to the tropical charm. The staff is so accommodating and friendly and it shows that they really care about their guests and want you to have the best stay ever.
The pool area is beautiful and open 24/7. There is a fridge in the front parlor area and also out by the pool, with complimentary bottled water and soft drinks always available, along with coffee or tea.
The complimentary breakfast that is offered every morning was my favorite! A local bakery delivers the most delicious quiches, filled croissants and even key lime beignets! There is also yogurt with all the mix ins, hard boiled eggs, bagels, english muffins, and cereal.
Happy Hour was so much fun! It was great to gather on the front porch and share complimentary beer, wine and snacks with the other guests!
Marrero's Guest Mansion rooms are amazing, bed is so comfy and the property is beautiful! The hosts think of everything! There are games to play, books to read and also sun tan lotion out by the pool!
We can't wait to come back and stay at Marrero's again!

Very comfortable house and in a great location. Friendly and welcoming staff when we arrived. Parking options in area not overly expensive and close by. The continental breakfast was personal to the area with a great choice of local savoury and sweet pastries and it was lovely to be able to eat it on the outside balcony. Surprisingly quiet inside and outside the house given its location and the 24 hour access to the honesty frig was much appreciated.

This was a great Key West spot! We stayed in room 3. It had ample space and everything we needed. The water pressure was good and the bed was pretty comfortable with big, fluffy pillows. The room was also kept nice and cool with an adjustable air conditioner. The staff were extremely friendly! We really liked the honor bar! The pool was perfectly sized to provide an intimate location to mingle with other guests or just have a private place to relax. The guests were also extremely friendly. It is easy to walk anywhere, but despite the close proximity to Duval, it was quiet at night. We usually try new places when we visit but I don’t think we can top this spot. I’d absolutely recommend plan to stay again.

Marrero’s Guest Mansion is the perfect place to stay when visiting Key West. Steps away from Duval St, Marrero’s Guest Mansion provides comfortable accommodations with friendly staff. The staff went above and beyond during our stay. The rooms and lobby are aesthetically pleasing with vibrant, tropical colors. A light breakfast is provided in the morning and water and soda is available all day. The pool provides the perfect quiet oasis to get away from the commotion on Duval and is stocked with sunscreen and books. I can’t say enough good things about this gorgeous inn. We cannot wait to return!

Marrero's was an excellent choice for our 3 day stay in Key West. It's location is perfect, a short walk to great cafes, shops, restaurants, bars, museums, and the beach/harbor! Upon arrival, our hostess Jamie was very friendly and extremely helpful in suggesting where to dine/visit. All non-alcoholic drinks are free 24/7 and alcohol is for purchase at a fair price. There is also a complimentary happy hour from 3:30-4:30 everyday! The pool is great place to recharge your batteries between activities. The room was a little small but cutely decorated and had a nice smell to it. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Marrero's!

Hi, The original owner Enriquetta is the friendly spirit that some say greets guests. Her room was what is currently Rm 7 on the second floor. None of the rooms are "haunted" but if you want to be away from the ghost-hunting guest action, stay on the 1st floor (rooms 1 - 4) or the cabana (room 12.) You will find once you arrive, the mansion has welcoming, positive vibes and doesn't feel spooky. Hope this helps!

That is correct. I think that was the previous owners, from what I read. I did not see any signs or anyone without clothing in the 5 days we were there.

We do offer shampoo, body wash, and conditioner in all the bathrooms. The rooms do not have coffee makers, but we offer daily coffee service starting at 8:00am until breakfast ends at 10:00. There are several great coffee shops within a couple blocks, too!
