Right off the bat, if you're of the crowd that enjoys spending hundreds if even thousands of dollars a night on lodging, this is not where you want to stay. On the other hand, if you're like my wife and I and want the *BEST* bang for the buck on the Keys, look no further than the Blue Fin Inn...

We have stayed here numerous times on our way through the Keys. A no frills CLEAN retro motel for a great price! Convenient to the Lorelei and a few other local bars. Love it! Staff is always friendly.

This is the second time I have stayed at this motel. There are two older strip motels side-by-side. The first time several years ago I was in the more northerly one, which I think is the Blue Fin side (not positive). It was a very clean although spartan concrete block building. This time I was in the other side, which...

Motel room was older but clean and well equipped. If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to lay your head and have a shower this is it. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the location can't be be beat. Felt like what Florida must have been like in the early days before the high end retreats that...

Great place to stay, right next door to Lorelie's where the food, music and atmosphere is perfect. Go down to the water, watch sunset and have a drink. Rooms are clean and well kept. Best place in Islamorada for the money!!

Old rooms, but adequate for our needs. TV is new but small. In the Keys how much time are you spending in the room? Right next door to Lorelei. Friendly staff. Don't expect the ritz, the beds and bathroom were clean. We stayed 2 nights. Would stay again.

If you are traveling on a budget, you honestly can't beat Key Lantern, Blue Fin Inn. This was a spur of the moment trip for my husband and I to go scuba diving and honestly, this hotel snob had rather spend money on the diving than the room. We stayed two nights. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. One...

My sis and I stayed at the Key Lantern for a family wedding while the majority of the group stayed at a resort across the street, and we couldn't have been happier! The room was clean, the beds were firm and comfortable, and having a kitchen was super helpful (got an efficiency) - we even had a toaster. You sacrifice...

It's a low budget motel, but great location directly off Highway 1 and a very short (1 minute) walk to Lorelei's cafe overlooking the sea. Those expecting the Hilton are probably looking in the wrong place, this is a typical budget American Motel, with rooms spread out in individual units. However, it's good value and the owners were flexible and...

I live in Fort Lauderdale and I've stayed here twice in the summer of 2016 while scuba diving in the Keys. It's an older, no frills, but well maintained motel. The staff is friendly, the area feels safe and the rooms are clean. You're able to park your car RIGHT IN FRONT of your door which is great when lugging...
