My brother and I rented a two bedroom condo here for a week and were very disappointed. Topsider has a beautiful setting on the gulf with a small sandy beach and a very nice dock for fishing or tying up a boat. The resort has a pool and hot tub. The landscaping is nicely done. So why are you such...

Good location, nice grounds. Great dock for keeping your boat. Small but decent beach area, decent pool. Units......outdated, desperate need of some renovations. A/C can be fickle, don't turn too low or might freeze up. If you are really picky, look elsewhere. If you can deal with the above, then the Topsider is not a bad place. Quiet, relaxing, close...

The place was dirty. Junk along the walls where they never vacuum, and the floors were so dirty the bottoms of our feet turned black, the air conditioner sounded like a train. Not a good place to stay

Been going to TopSider since 1985 :-) Two weeks in July and 1 or 2 Weeks in January; So obviously I Love the place! Nice dockage for Boat! We are into Water Sports, and the Matecumbe Bight is perfect for Water Skiing & Wake Boarding! Nice SandBar just South of TopSider. If you're into fishing, you'll have your hands full!...

We stayed at the Topsider every year for many years but hadn't visited for a longtime. We love the location at Islamorada. The water is still nice for snorkeling and fishing. This year a manatee hung out at the dock one day which was awesome to see. I agree that the units could do with a bit more updating although...

My Family has been going to the Topsider for 35 years and it's our favorite place on the planet period! Staff is friendly, very down to earth and accomodating. Always an awesome week. This is not a 5 star place but honestly you'd be hard pressed to find anything better. Only 20 Units & all have access to topsiders own...

I love visiting Topsider. Our friend has had a timeshare there for many years and has invited my husband and I twice. I love the boardwalk among the landscape to the dock, and the people staying there same week are very nice. This year the decking around the pool was new, the hot tub is saltwater, and the canoe and...

My husband and stopped in to visit friends who have had a time share here for 30 years. We are considering it for our family next year. This was our first drive down the Key West, and after Key Largo, Islamadora is one of the communities along the way with the most to offer as far as restaurants, grocery store...

I have to say I wasn't sure about this place based on reviews. It is a no frills place so if you are looking for an upscale resort with all the bells and whistles this is not your place, if you want just the basics then this place works. We had 6 adults for a week and it's not a...

I will begin by saying, I prefer modern-upscale resorts, so this type of "resort" is not really up my alley. I worked in hotels for years, so I am used to providing and receiving round the clock service during stays. This resort is for leisure use, did not see staff while visiting -- very hands off. THE GREAT: The did...
