Clean, cozy, charming, kitschy, friendly - it's all of that and then some. We love Islamorada and have stayed at a range of places from Cheeca to the Sunset Inn, which, if you're not familiar with the accommodations, are on opposite ends of the luxury spectrum. This place is a perfect in-between, and my new favorite. Highlights: extremely welcoming staff,...

I have stayed in many places on Islamorada in all price ranges and this is now one of my very favorites. I like the waterfront area and views. My studio was very airy, nice and had large windows with great views. The location was great and close to many restaurants, etc. This is an old Florida style place and has...

We're in the keys for 11 days visiting from Islamorada to Key West. We spent the first 5 nights at La Jolla and enjoyed La Jolla so much we changed our plans so we could spend the last 3 days here. It's a warm and inviting place. Great beach, lots of areas to relax and plenty of amenities. Especially enjoyed...

Like everyone says, if you are expecting a Hilton then you will be disappointed. If you want a friendly, comfortable bed and breakfast atmosphere this is it. Modest yet well appointed rooms with kitchens situated on the water with a pier, free kayaks, fishing poles and bait with catch and release, hammocks and relaxing waterfront seating. We stayed for 2...

Love this place! Fabulous for an extended stay as well equipped with everything you need in your suite. Unlimited use of kayaks and paddle boards to explore by sea, as well as bicycles to explore the city by land! Great shopping nearby as well as great restaurants and entertainment., even a brewery across the street!

If you're a snob - don't go here. If you want a clean, friendly, and authentic Keys experience then you won't be disappointed. We've been vacationing in the Keys for nearly 15 years. We don't pick the Hyatt, and on purpose. We patronize the smaller locally owned places and always do our homework. There are plenty of photos on their...

Stay 1 night to attend a wedding. Location was good to the wedding but over priced due to spring break. This is a 1950s-1960s motel. Resort because they have a pool, kayaks n a fishing pier. The room was ok but the wifi only worked out on the stairs not in the room. Single ac unit. Other friends were staying...

I stayed here with my wife and daughter for an overnight on the way down to Key West and wish we had more time. We arrived at the hotel not long before sunset and watched the sun go down from a lounge chair on the beach. The hotel has several small buildings, painted in retro pastel colours and is a...

We arrived today and I expected a simple establishment but, what I didn't expect was a throw back to 60 years ago. No really secure locks on the door, a bathroom that hasn't been updated since 1940 with a toilet seat that is stained yellow. (seriously? they cost about $10 to replace!) You walk up two steps to get to...

Clean and quaint rooms with a living room and kitchen area. The motel, although old, is very well maintained, and very clean. They provide bikes, fishing gear, and kayaks for your use, at no additional cost. Assigned parking, waterfront docking, and very helpful staff contributed to our enjoyable stay. If you dont need luxury, want good value, and a clean...
