Loved our "cozy cottage"...nothing like walking out your door with sand/water within a few feet. Every night after dinner, we sat outside on the beach. Very clean and quiet, nice pool & great entertainment. Manager Ana & front desk girls were all very friendly and...More

While I have not stayed here I have stayed at many places in the keys. There are not a lot of real beaches in the keys...each key is basically a rock in the water. If you want shelling the west coast of Florida, particularly Sanibel, would be the place. Most beaches are created by clearing rocks and dumping sand, then smoothing it out on a grade that gets deeper the farther it goes out. Walks on any beach in the keys would be a pleasure and sunsets are outrageous, particularly when you are equipped with a margarita!
