Stayed there 4 nights last December and wanted to stay longer but had to return to Belgium for X-mas. Andi at the reception is amazing: soooo friendly and helpful.
Although close to US1, the locaction is so peaceful with fantastic view over the ocean.
The weather could have been better (warmer and more sun) so we didn’t use the nice swimming pool or the kayaks but instead we used the bikes a lot. Drove to the 7-mile bridge and Sombrero beach.
Room is simple but with all the necessary amenities (fridge/tv/fans/airco/coffee maker/shower in the bathtub...). Outside in front of the room: table/chairs/BBQ and an open gas fire! Top!!!

Hello Anita! I was such an absolute pleasure to meet and talk with you while you were here before the holidays!! It's been a while, but we would love to see you again! Thank you for your wonderful review, it means a lot to us as a small Mom-and-Pop business!! As a courtesy to returning guests who leave positive reviews, we would like to offer you a discount if you return or if you refer a friend or family to come stay with us. This would give you (and them!) a discount for booking directly with us. You would simply need to reach out to us directly to book and we will absolutely give you the best rate available and it also gives you two more weeks of free cancellation. Simply call or email and we would be more than happy to work with you to achieve the best possible rate! The longer your stay, the more we can work with you! Please let us know if you have any questions and we hope to hear from you in the future!! - Andi and Seascape Staff

We were there 2 nights as a family in October. We had room 11, with 2 rooms and a kitchen. It was very big and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with sponge, dishwashing products and tea towel. Otherwise, the pans are small if there are many of you. The beds are good. I can't say anything about the air conditioning as we didn't use it. There are ceiling fans. The hotel is far from the road, so it is quiet. The swimming pool is very pleasant. The small beach is very beautiful, but it is not for swimming. We were able to kayak and fish (free), and have a barbecue (also free).
A nice place.

I'm conflicted! I want to rave about this resort, but I also want to keep it a secret for me & my husband! Although, I do want it to stay in business, so I best relay my experience for others. I booked directly with the resort, and we were delighted to discover the resort looked exactly like the photos on their website. The resort is off the main Overseas Highway, so it's quiet & peaceful, and the rooms are very clean and updated and contain all the essentials we needed, like toiletries, a fridge & microwave, & even beach towels. There is also a deep freezer for use with fishing, a freezer with ice, and several grills for cooking. We loved getting coffee in the lobby (they had gourmet flavors) and having free access to bikes & kayaks. We biked to breakfast every morning and for ice cream later on. The owner Ted, and his staff, especially Andy, were so friendly and helpful, and we look forward to coming here again! We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, and they upgraded us to a bigger room at no additional charge! Hopefully next time we can bring our boat or rent one, because this resort has a direct boat launch with ample free parking. The beach area is beautiful and private, and the pool is clean and refreshing. And it's so close to everything, including a grocery store, drug store, and so many places to eat. We were so lucky to have discovered Seascape Resort & Marina! I want to work here when I retire.

The Sea Scape was amazing.Andi the at the desk went out of her way To make us comfortable. I even left a few items there that she will be shipping to me. This is definitely an oasis in Marathon rooms were spotless clean and comfortable. We rented a boat and were able to keep it there for a minimal amount of money. They offer free usage of the bikes, the kayaks the paddle boards which you never find at hotels. Even our first bag of ice was free. We were so lucky to have found this place. We were able to go offshore and catch dolphin clean our boat there. It is perfect for families and couples. I spent most of my childhood in Florida Keys. My grandmother had hotels down there this by far was the best place I've stayed. It was quiet serene they even had a private beach. The company I work for does a lot of traveling. We will definitely send all the employees there. I am so grateful for Andi spelling not sure it it is correct she was beyond kind and helpful . most hotels the staff makes you feel like you are bothering them. Andi always had a smile and a kind word As far as drinks suntan lotion beach chairs umbrella s they work on honor system in this day and age to not be charged for every little thing is amazing. You feel like your at home .This is a ten out of ten as far as places to stay in the Keys I found my home for all future trips to the keys .

The hotel is old, outdated and rooms are very small, only like 2 rooms have ocean view, limited furniture, no noise protection at all, you hear people from the other room like if they were in your same room, there is no beach area, only sand and chairs surrounded by rocks around seawall ⛔️🛥️ Ramp is not good for boats more than 15ft. Ramp is way to high and very dirty with trash and seaweed. ( hotel front desk will not tell you!) They charge $25. p night, cash only for docking. Very few spaces available. 👉🏼To get in or out is a nightmare because even with high tide is very shallow! 2-3 feet ( front desk will not mention it) They only tell you that you can also use the ramp at mile marker 49, city of Marathon public ramp and use their dock. The cost is $25 for drop off and $25. for pick up, but they don’t tell you that is more than an hour by boat to get from the ramp to the hotel and forget about picking up your boat from there, the line was more than 60 cars and all the caos of boats going around by the water waiting to take out. So we use the ramp from Key Colony that was only $5. more dollars on the ocean side, no line, and much closer to the hotel.

A small haven of blissful tranquility we cannot recommend highly enough. It is tucked away at the end of a quiet residential rood by the sea, with a limited number of rooms so that peace is guaranteed. Sitting out on the front porch at night was super-peaceful, with seaviews on our right. Our room was beautiful, clean, and equipped with a fridge/freezer (essential in the heat), coffee machine and TV. They have a small but lovely pool, private beach, ice machine (first bag free), BBQ area, and free use of bikes, kayaks, etc. The staff were fab. We stayed in 4 different hotels touring the keys, and Seascape was one of two we would recommend to anyone. I wish I was back there now.

Found the Seascape Resort and Marina through Booking.com and through reading all the lovely reviews could not wait to end our Florida holiday here and we could not have been more delighted.

The location was just absolutely beautiful, the accommodation was lovely and light and airy and the facilities on offer were just up our street - kayaking, SUPs, fire pit, hammock, fishing, it was just perfect.

The location was half way down the keys so was perfect for reaching Key West, it was just over 1 hour away.

The lovely staff made recommendations for dinner, we visited the Sunset Grille which was lovely for sunsets and we enjoyed the food and drink.

If you want a very chilled out time, the accommodation here is perfect. Oh and a special mention to the wildlife, loved seeing the family of lizards.

We stayed here for a week. It was wonderful. It is off of the main road so you feel like you are in the islands enjoying peace and quite. It was never crowded as there are 12 guest rooms. We had #9 which was like a one bedroom apartment. We were able to dock the boat on site using their private ramp. If you dock your boat at their private dock there is an additional fee but it is reasonable. We were able to park the trailer as well. The property is very secure. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are not cleaning rooms everyday due to covid but if you ask the person at the front desk for your room to be cleaned they will do it. There is a nice courtyard with a fire pit and grills if you want to cook your own food. The pool was great and had wonderful views of the beach. There was seaweed so swimming wasn't an option but you could go out in the water if you had watersocks. Enjoyed sitting in hammocks on their beach at night watching the heat lightening. We will be back!

We chose to stay in Marathan, rent a car, and drive up and down the Keys for our trip. Everything is a day trip away from here. This property is fantastic! The grounds are immaculate. Every little detail outside is maintained beautifully. Daily, they rake the seaweed from the shore and even rake the sandy area. There will always be some seaweed in the Keys and the smell is everywhere, but very minimal here. You don't notice it at all sitting on the dock. There is a very small area to enter the water for swimming, kayaking, or paddleboarding. Being on the Atlantic side, there is often a strong east wind. This makes it difficult to kayak and paddleboard. We had a couple quiet wind mornings and paddleboarded. The equipment is a bit beat up, but plenty good enough to use casually. The pool is also very well maintained, always perfectly clean. Nice lounge chairs and umbrellas as well. When tired, we simply stayed here and relaxed. Plenty of amenities to let you lounge, whether on the sandy area, on the docks, or by the pool.

The front office was great whenever we needed more towels. There is a coffee maker and a small refrigerator in the office area. This was stocked with free water, beers, and wine. The water cooler there was also a wonderful resource. We had a one bedroom with a king sized bed. The room was very clean and comfortable. Initially I was worried about noise, neighbors and airport across the main highway, but it was very quiet. The property is far enough off of the main highway so you don't hear any traffic. I even forgot there was an airport across the highway, it was very quiet.

I would strongly recommend this property and would stay here again and again.

Spent 5 nights at this lovely resort. It is small and secluded. The staff was great, and much care was given to the grounds. Our room was #4, we had a fridge microwave and Keurig in the room. The bed was firm, and the bedding was fresh and clean. Water pressure was low, but that’s an issue for the Keys. There was 3-4 water main breaks, one while we were there and there was no water at all for around 8 hours. Again not the fault of the resort. At times we were the only people on the beach and the pool. There are beach towels available in the room, they have bikes you can use complimentary as well as beach umbrellas and soccer chairs and coolers, First come first serve. The outdoor fireplace was awesome for the evenings. Nice to meet and talk with other guests. Our room was perfect for 2 people. We left relaxed and rested. Marathon is a great location not too far to Key West but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Key West. Overall we loved the Keys and this resort.

Manatees are typically around in May. You may see some larger fish off the dock. The dock is lit up at night and it lights the water up below the dock. It’s a great place to go and relax.
