The rooms were clean and comfortable! The rates were reasonable too. There was a refrigerator and microwave. Our TV and wifi worked well. I had a concern one night and called the front desk who responded quickly. I would definitely stay here again!

Not a flashy property, but great rates and great location. I needed to work in Lake Worth overnight and the Barefoot Mailman met my needs exactly. I had have just two drawbacks of my stay. Coffee is not in the room, rather you must exit the room, go outside to walk to a central location where the coffee is available... More

We are getting ready to leave tomorrow, have been here for 3 days and we really hate to leave. The accommodations are wonderful, very clean, helpful and professional staff that are ready to go out of their way to assist you. Have a beautiful patio with outdoor kitchen. We grilled out for a farewell dinner with our family and thoroughly... More

We had an excellent 4 nights here, in fact we extended our stay an additional night! We will definitely stay again if back in Lantana. I think the facilities are great for the price & found the motel is close to restaurants & very short drive to the water (check out Dune Deck Cafe & Palm Beach bakery for Scandinavian... More

We recently stayed a week here when my husband had to work in nearby Greenacres. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. They even upgraded our room at no extra charge because they saw we had two young kids and had booked a king suite. We got a double instead (which gave us much more room). The complementary coffee in... More

We stayed here during the busy Spring Break season for a few nights. As everyone has written in previous reviews, it is a very clean, quiet motel with beautiful grounds. There are several patio areas scattered around the property, with benches, patio tables with chairs, lounge chairs and some charcoal grills. These areas are very well kept. The larger "social"... I would definately feccomend The Barefoot Mailman Motel. It is very clean. The rooms are nice and quaint. The outside patios are beautiful and they have a microvave for heating your food, afridge in every room. I would definately stay here next time I am down this way.

Pros: Room and bath very clean. Grounds were beautiful. Bed/pillows very comfortable. Plenty of towels. Owner came by as we were leaving to ask if everything had been ok which was nice. Cons: First impression not good. Building could use some work. Check in was in a tiny (3x4 ft) foyer, trough a window (2x4 ft) with a mail slit.... More

Greetings Annalaura54, Thank you for your candid if somewhat negative review of our property. We do our best with every guest to make their stay the best possible. You did say the room and bath was very clean; grounds were beautiful, bed/pillows very comfortable, plenty of towels and the manager (not owner) personal attention was nice. We realize that our... Motel is close to beach, restaurants, ect. Room was very clean with pleasant décor. Wi-Fi was so-so. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because of the railroad tracks . We only stayed one night, so not sure how often the train actually runs but boy is that horn a shocker at... More

We were on a trip from Orlando to key west and looking far a place in between. Found this place, $60 tax in. It was clean. So overall for 1 night it was and ok place. You need the car for the beach, it is a 25 min. walk.
