This is an old time Florida motel, upgraded to be really comfortable today. The landscaping is a touch of Old Florida and the rooms have been updated with comfy couches and new air conditioners (non of the old window units.) It is does not have "luxury appointments" if that is what one desires. No regular maid service. It does have...

This was our 2nd stay at the Sandpiper. It has a perfect location.... Right on the beach. The rooms are cozy and well done. They upgraded the rooms tremendously since our stay last year. Super quiet, intimate and clean. The beach is so deserted, clean and well maintained. The Sandpiper provides lounge chairs and towels for the beach that make...

The Sandpiper is not luxurious nor modern. However, it is very clean, seems to be very well run, and has wonderful, close, convenient access to the beach. The beaches of Siesta Key, Longboat Key and Anna Maria all seem to have an influx of seaweed in the water and all over the beaches right now but that is simply what...

We chose the Sandpiper Inn for its location right on the beach in Longboat Key for a beach vacation with our 11 year old twin grand daughters. Our original plan was to stay there for 3 days and then head to Sanibel for the rest of the week. The Sandpiper was so comfortable and relaxing and enjoyable that we ended...

We stayed here for the location and price but were very pleased with the accomodations and overall property. The one bedroom units are very functional and clean. As noted by others it appears they have been updated recently - very nice. We found the property to address all our needs - close to the beach, easy access, good value, and...

We recently returned to the Sandpiper Inn and were surprised with what we found. Our old sleepy Inn had been transformed. The rooms have been redone and the difference is amazing ! New cabinets - new appliances - flat panel tv - it really turned out great. What drew us to this place originally has not changed. Awesome beach. Very...

What a wonderful weekend with my 2 daughters, After parking your car a convenient distance from this beach front, single story Inn, you follow a brick path through lush vegetation, shoulder high flowering plants and beautiful fountains with flowing water and statues. The charming Spanish style inn, was built in the 50's and is kept completely updated. The walkway goes...

If you're searching for a perfect spot to relax and enjoy yourself, away from the bustle of the typical touristy commotion, be sure to check out this gem on Longboat Key. We live nearby but stumbled upon this in an online search and enjoyed the setting, the private beach and the quietude. We stayed in the two bedroom unit--all updated...

Felt homey from when we walked through the patio and into our room. Everything modern and clean! Lush vegetation gives you real privacy and no rat race touristy feeling here. Cell phone coverage is lacking in the room, but great on the beach. Why do I care? I'm coming back one day... after my sunburn heals. Enjoy this place guys.

This was my husband's and my 2nd stay at this adorable and quaint seaside inn. We really enjoyed our stay here about 1-1/2 years ago and were so happy to return. It was even more wonderful than the first time! Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The beach - bright and beautiful. One afternoon we enjoyed watching a graceful...
