It was my first time visiting this property. The place was cleaned but it had a bad odor (sewage). Location to St. Armands is great. Being on the bottom floor was terrible, the inconsiderate morons on the second floor were very noisy all nigh moving furniture and talking like it was day time. The beach was quiet and that was great. I will not be going back because their price is to high. Not worth it to me.

Stayed with daughter and 2 granddaughters for 3 nights. Location was wonderful. Nice pool and beach. Our only complaint was cleanliness. Dead roach on kitchen floor upon arrival. Later we found dirty undies in master suite and candy wrappers and misc garbage in 2nd bedroom, obviously from prior guests.. Woke up 2 mornings with roaches in kitchen and on our last morning 2 under the bed. Cleaning crew obviously needs some supervision.

We stayed in Unit 18 and it was perfect for a quick getaway! I loved longboat key and we had multiple public beaches close to the condo. The room was very clean when we got there and had a very cozy feel as opposed to the cookie cutter hotel rooms I’ve grown accustomed to. We had a view of a cute garden right outside the screened in porch. The location itself was also perfect for exploring around the area! Minutes from Anna Maria Island and Bradenton! Would 10/10 recommend and come back! Also go eat at Tide Tables if you get the chance!

Would not rebook unit 8 beachside. The unit is worn with furniture that looks like it’s from a thrift store. The beds are uncomfortable, their was only 3 towels left for a 4 nite stay, the kitchen has no utensils or a full set of dishes. No ice maker in room. The vertical blinds are broken and laying across couch, electrical tape black wrapped around a chair in living room obviously torn or worn underneath. No hair dryer in room. if your going to charge $300 nite, clean up and update your unit.

My hubby and I recently stayed in condo #4 for six days and have nothing but positive comments about the condo and the property, overall. We were looking for a romantic, kid-free getaway, and this was the perfect location. Condo #4 is on the second level and has a beautiful view of the beach. The condo had everything we needed, and was extremely clean and updated. We often like to cook in and the kitchen was well stocked for our needs. We also made use of the grill just outside our condo. The bed was comfortable and we especially enjoyed using the screened-in porch (I have a history of being destroyed by sand flees). The beach is great for long walks, spotting fish and dolphins and checking out other properties. It's also a great spot for gorgeous sunsets. We used the pool and hot tub every night after dinner. It's a quick walk across the street to those amenities, but that road rarely was busy. Except for one night, we had the pool and hot tub all to ourselves. One day we used the complimentary bikes offered at a property down the road (they have an agreement with the Beach Castle, but I can't remember the name of that property). We took the bikes up to Anna Maria island, checked out the area and had lunch and drinks. I should mention that as soon as we walked into this condo, I said, "I love it here." If you want a great ocean view, and don't mind stairs, I would definitely recommend condo #4. Condo #2 seems to be comparable, but I didn't see the inside.…

This was our second time to Longboat Key but our first stay at #4 Castle Beach. # 4 is a second floor oceanfront condo just 50 yards from an amazing beach. A large number of chairs and umbrellas are provided at no additional cost. The evening sunset views from the screened-in porch are worth the rental fee. Also, there are 3 great places to eat less than a block from this condo as well as a great ice cream parlor. The pool and jacuzzi are across the street by the office and were great on those windy cooler beach days. There was a shared laundry room in our 8 condo complex. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We suggest stopping at Publix on the way in and loading up on paper towels, toilet paper, soap, groceries, adult beverages etc. The condo does provide a few complimentary products but not the quality we prefer. Editors note: Hey condo owners - spring for the $10 it would cost to splurge on Bounty, Charmin and Dial. Condo Management are onsite Monday-Saturday and could not have been nicer. We can pay Castle Beach no higher compliment than the fact that we booked this condo for next year before leaving. Condo’s 1-3 look great as well. Final note: Get dinner reservations well in advance to arriving. So many great places to eat but most were completely booked 2 weeks in advance. …

We spent 2 nights at Beach Castle Resort #24. Our very clean & stylish condo was 1 bedroom, 1 bath. Small but fully outfitted kitchen. Extra kitchen towels provided but no dish cloth, only a sponge. There was dish soap, dishwasher soap & paper towels for our use. Nice stoneware dish set. Glassware X6 in large & small sizes. Fridge was good size & they had made ice cubes already for us- that was so helpful! Dining table for 4 is adequate. Living Room is nice size with 2 recliners & a comfy couch. The screened porch is off the LR & has a wonderful view of the Bay & the resorts fishing dock.. my husband caught a few catfish from the dock, but had to be wary of all the bird droppings that pepper the railing. Bathroom is divided with single sink in bedroom area. A door separates the sink area from the tub/shower & toilet area, which is a very small tight space. Worked fine for us, but a large person may find it problematic. Nice linen closet was fully stocked with extra sheets, blankets, pillows, towels & a good assortment of books. Was missing a blow dryer. Double closet in bedroom was good space for the 2 of us. King bed was very comfortable. Love having a light on each side of the bed. Walk to Gulf beach was 6 minutes- they provide nice chairs & umbrellas. The pool is very nice with ample seating. Water temperature was just right. There is a keyless entry on this unit, but beware early arrivals- the lock is connected to computer system that will not allow entry code to work until scheduled 4pm arrivals. Was a problem for us as we were granted an early arrival time. Lauren from Beach Castle was able to get us in - so just a heads up! Complex was quiet, people considerate & friendly. The parking is VERY tight. We drive a Ford Edge & we had no problem, but those with extended vehicles barely fit in some of the spaces. Having guests visit could be a big problem!! Overall a very clean, comfortable condo for 2 people...I would definitely stay here again!!…

To say disappointed is an understatement and the photos on their website do not come even close to representing the unit we stayed in. Sunday arrival and keys were left for us to pick up (no-one in the office). We entered our unit to be overwhelmed by the stale/musty smell. At that stage it was a little too late for us to find alternative accommodation so made the most of it by opening the windows and turning fans on. We figured the place had just not been aired out. The following morning reported issue to the office to be told that housekeeping would be informed and it would be dealt with. We never heard anything further. The bathroom was dated, you were unable to close the door due to it being swollen with water damage (photo included) and the rusted towel rail on top of it. The makeup mirror provided was so rusted you were afraid to even move it (photo included). As for the toiletries provided, the cheap soap was no thicker than a dollar bill. Silverware and cooking utensils were dirty (photo included), patio furniture rusty, blinds dated and windows dirty. We did again address this with the office to be again told it would be dealt with. The only plusses were that plenty of towels were provided; pool and beach area was nice. Would we go back, absolutely No. Was this an inexpensive condo rental – No – and you are charged on top of the rental fee as a separate entity, a cleaning fee. For the price being paid would at least expect some decent soap!!!…

Summer vacations in Longboat Key have been a family tradition for most of my life. My mother lived there for 30+ years, and my kids and I would visit her every summer. Since my mom passed away several years ago, my daughter and I have kept up the tradition of going back every summer and staying in the same area. We have tried various places, and Beach Castle Resort is one of the nicest…beautiful, comfortable, spacious rooms with lovely views, an ocean theme that I love, a nice pool and even a hot tub, and land at a private beach in one of the most beautiful, peaceful places on earth! I don’t think I’ve ever felt more relaxed than when I’m in Longboat Key, and Beach Castle Resort provides a wonderful environment for that. The only thing that gave me pause when we were booking was that the only available units were poolside (apparently, a tribute to the Resort’s popularity), and the pool is on the opposite side of the street from the ocean. We were pleasantly surprised to find, however, it’s a very short walk (only a few minutes) and totally worth it, especially since the price was the most reasonable with the most amenities we found in the area. We were particularly grateful that the management was extremely accommodating when we had to check in after hours. We definitely recommend Beach Castle Resort!…

My family has been spending a week each year at the Beach Castle on LBK for more than 20 years. Our group is quite large, probably 30+ of us...and it's the perfect place for each family unit to have their own condo, but gather together in each others' condos for meals, games, and fun. Each unit has a full kitchen, so while there are many great restaurants nearby, we generally go to the local Publix to stock up for the week and cook all of our meals. The pool area is always fun, with both a pool (that is always at a pleasant temperature) and a hot tub. We stay on the bay side, so the beach is just a short walk across the street. The Beach Castle has their own private section of beach, so it's never super crowded. The sunsets are just beautiful there, and it's a different sight to see each evening. We have even been lucky enough to witness a couple of sea turtles come up on the beach to lay their eggs...which is just amazing to see! Manatee sightings are a common occurrence both on the beach side, as well as back on the bay side by the fishing dock...but it's always a magical experience. I can't say enough about how much fun we have every year at Beach Castle. It's kept us coming back for more than 20 years! Your family will love it too.…
