The lighthouse is a very unique but at the same time simple accommodation. Hosts are extremely warm and welcoming. I would not rate the accommodation with 4 stars however, since the rooms are very very simple. The room has no tv, no wifi, not even a nice painiting or photo on the wall, as well as cheap curtains. Breakfast is...

This inn has it's rooms in the old lighthouse keepers cottage. The lighthouse is still operational and busily blinking to warn sailors to keep away from the rocks. The room faced the ocean and was spacious. If you are looking to get away from everything, including all electronics then this is the place for you. There is really nothing to...

We travelled through Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and this was our last stay in Newfoundland before the ferry took us back to Sydney. We spent most of our nights - unfortunately - in hotels, motels and cottages and therefore always close to streets, downtown, shops etc. This stay in the Inn was in a very positive way something different. Right...

The lighthouse is at the end of the earth, such a peaceful place. Before we left we saw many species of birds (pointed out to us by our knowledgeable hosts) and whales swimming in the waters just beyond the lighthouse. Accommodations are spacious, comfortable and very clean. Hosts Ann and Karen are terrific (very friendly and gave us great advice...

This was our first day in NL, just arrived at Cape Anguille from Channel Port Aux Basques ferry. We were very impressed at first sight with the scenery and quite happy with the accommodation. We had a room in the light keeper house with a nice ocean view. Obviously, the room was basic but also very comfortable and to reply...

If you decide to stay here, you should know ahead that it is pretty basic and also a bit remote. You drive in on a single lane pot holed road. We were told we had the best room. It did have an ocean view if you were standing up. With the nearest restaurant quite a distance away it would have...

I stayed here 3 nights in the main house, in the ocean facing room. What can I say? It was darn near perfect a 1920 heritage building with stark, clean lines, right by the water and a working lighthouse. The rooms were simple but held everything you need. Do take the dinner option, the food is excellent. Ann, who oversees...

Offered the "ocean view room" in the original lighthouse keepers home built in 1908. To view the ocean had to be standing. Hate to say it but no remodelling, painting or any work has been done to the room. The door to the bedroom has 4 colours and they are from old paints showing through. The bedroom smelt musty &...

Off the beaten path, an Inn in a restored lighthouse keeper's residence. A main building with three bedrooms, and a side building with a few more rooms. Restored hardwood floors are beautiful, the scenery is spectacular, and the ambiance was very relaxing. Right on the water with excellent views. They offer dinner that must be reserved in advance, since the...

The other reviews pretty much represent our experience. Yes the last kilometer of road is pretty rough, but the experience was worth it. I don't believe the road is under the lighthouse's control. Ann was delightful and provided a lot of good advice regarding places to visit, she also got up early to give us a warm breakfast on our...
