Made our last visit 3 yrs. ago after previous managers left. Reviews were not good after that. Found out new folks running the place. It's been painted and updated and Janet & "Coach" were wonderful hosts. Recommended some great restaurants we hadn't visited in past...More

We stayed at Knolls 2 years ago. It literally looks like a Motel from the 60's. We went back this year and found that it was under new ownership. The new owners were very friendly. The rooms are not updated, but we stayed there because...More

Water view was not enough to offset the rundown water view room we were taken to. The proud owners should visit their beautiful motel to see the condition of the rooms they are renting and I must add not very cheap with no refunds. Upon...More

The closest place to put the boat in is at the Matlacha County boat ramp & park. It's only 2 blocks away and a quick boat ride. We can accommodate 1 trailer & vehicle in our driveway here.

Because of the barrier Islands, we do not have any beaches here. We are right on the water. We do have a secret around here that is close by. It is probably on of the best beaches in SW Florida and you'll never have a ton of people on it while you are there. Its a National Park called Cayo Costa, you can only get there by boat and has about an 8 mile long beach that is pristine! We have a ferry on north Pine Island that makes two runs a day that can take you over to enjoys a relaxing day!!
