We stayed here for one night before our cruise. The hotel is located in the JW Marriott Miami with a separate check in and separate keypad in the elevator. When you first get there you need to have someone send you up to the 39th floor for check in. We left our car downstairs to go check in but later just decided to let valet take it as parking in the area was only parking garages and all expensive. We were upgraded from a city view to a water view and I must say that was very nice. The room is very modern and I wish someone or maybe a quick book to explain how to work the panel for the radio, tv, shades etc. While we played around with the button I couldn't lower the radio and it was way to loud. The hotel was adding 49er's decorations and we were told the team would be staying there for the Super Bowl game this coming weekend.
Overall a very good stay and would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic stay made even more wonderful by the incredible staff.

Even before I checked in, I knew it would be a great stay when I saw an upgrade to a corner suite. As a Marriott elite, it does make the stay easier when it happens, and makes you feel valued.

But honestly what made the stay great were the staff. Specifically Andres at the Concierge Desk, and his staff. From the moment I walked in, they told me they were there to help me however they could, and made it clear that they truly meant it.

From offering free breakfast in the restaurant as compensation for no breakfast in the lounge, a food and beverage voucher as a welcome gift (a standard option, but they offered it in addition to points—which they definitely did not have to do—as an apology for the lounge being unavailable for food/drink and the lack of a minibar).

When I needed additional coffee in the room, Andres got on it right away, the coffee was there within minutes, and he even called to confirm that it had been delivered. When I checked out and still had work to do, they brought me refreshments as I worked in L'Atelier (the lounge), and made sure that I was taken care of.

Regardless of the benefits, compensation, etc., it's the intangibles that make a good stay great. Andres and his team really delivered.

Made a reservation at the JW Marriott, and we were upgraded to this hotel, which I’m still trying to figure out. The hotel room was better than average and was very comfortable, clean and had a large bathroom. The hotel serves a limited breakfast, but if you’re a platinum Marriott member you can eat at the JW morning buffet, which is much better. All in all a better than average hotel in the Miami area.

We stayed here on our way to a cruise. When we arrived, we waited a while before we realized no one was coming to help with our luggage, even though there were multiple people working for the hotel just a few feet away. We just found a luggage cart and loaded our own luggage. Inside the hotel (ground floor is a actually a Marriott) a bellhops then came up and said “you can’t get up to the Beaux Arts without me” because you had to have the bellhop with a special key. So, he did nothing but expected a tip just to use the key. Bad start. The room was nice. Nothing else was good about the experience. The hotel is not really a high end property and the pool was gross. Restaurants were pretty much fast food caliber. This is NOT a 4 or 5 star hotel!! It’s a shared property with the Marriott guests ( most of the building) and the pool is very small, shaded most of the day and was dirty with no one attending guests, much less food service. No restaurant associated with a high end hotel (can share whatever the Marriott offers but not good food). We left and went to the Four Seasons.

The suites were beautifully designed and spacious, but too dysfunctional.
1. No electrical outlets except for the one at 1 of the 2 night tables.
2. The bath robes looked fancy, but their fleece lining shed little black fuzz all over our body.
3. The breakfast selections in Restaurant 345 were so economical, even the FREE breakfast offerings at a typical Springhill Suites would be superior, with more choices of pastries and fresh fruits and pancakes/waffles.
4. Maintenance problems: Over 5 nights, we stayed in 2 different suites:
a. Suite 3826: The faucet of 1 of the 2 sinks sprayed straight out horizontally at us. The first engineer "fixed" it by dramatically reduced the water pressure to a trickle. The second engineer tried to fix it but somehow caused the electricity to shut off for both faucets and the TV. We therefore had to move to the 2nd suite. Another problem was that the lighting was very, very dimmed in the sitting room. Only after having moved to the 2nd suite that we discovered that the lighting problem was caused by 3 sources: the ceiling light was weak, the standing light and the table light were on dimmer but, because their switches were on long cords well-stuck under the furniture, we had not known that they could be controlled by us.
b. Suite 4026: The faucet of 1 of the 2 sinks only trickled water to such a degree that was unusable. Afraid of another repeat of the electricity problem like the previous suite, we tried to avoid asking for a fix by using only the other sink. After a couple days of that, we got fed up and decided to risk it by asking to have it fixed. This time, a different engineer managed to increase the water pressure without causing any subsequent problems.
c. Both suites: The toilet got clogged often. We suspect it was a common design problem because, whenever an engineer showed up, he was ready with a toilet plunger in hand! Also, a common problem was the water pressure in the shower; it was so weak that it always took a painfully long time for me to thoroughly rinse shampoo off my hair.

We took the room on higher floors, the view was beautiful, the room was clean, bed very comfortable and all the toiletries smelled wonderful. A bit chilly inside, but maybe we just didn't find a way to make it a more comfortable temperature. On the cons side - messy and slow valet service, they don't have much space near the entrance, so it gets chaotic. Our experience was a bit abysmal just because there was some couple a room above shouting and fighting all night about their relationship, making so much noise for so many hours and no one really cared. I didn't sleep at all. We took the higher floor room because usually these are calmer as there is no noise from the street, but it turned out even worse because of such trashy "neighbors". Also, the hotel has a bit of a stuck-up luxury show off thing going on, they leave better cars of guests for display near the entrance, that's kind of, um, how to put it, pretentious. Well, it is Miami, I know, but still - I don't find it classy.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, I really did. I live local and finally got a chance to stay in this hotel for an event at the arena.

This hotel is located above the JW Marriott Marquis and the lobby is on the 39th floor. The elevators require a key card to access that floor and I had to ask someone at the front desk for JW Marriott to get me up there. And I had to wait about 20 mins for someone to be available to ask me that.

Finally got up to the Hotel Beaux Arts lobby, the check is process was very nice and the lady was nice enough to walk me straight to my room and give me a little tour before getting settled, which was a nice touch.

The room itself is very beautifully designed and appointed. The was built in 2010 and it was way ahead of its time. However, it was starting to show its age and was lacking some maintenance. The Air conditioner in the living room area was extremely noisy. The AC in the bedroom was fine and I was only staying one night so I didn’t make a fuss about it. The shower head was leaking and spraying water onto the ceiling and had awful water pressure. The colorful touch faucets were cool but starting not work well because of their age.

I was surprised to discover the minibar was not stocked (they do advertise a Minibar) and the coffee maker was not working. This was pretty disappointing for a $600/night room. They used to have Bang & Olufsen sound systems in the rooms but those are long gone. Aside from the that, it was clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

The valet experience was the worst i have ever seen. Extremely understaffed and completely disorganized with people that don’t know what they’re doing. Each time, even requesting it ahead of time I still had to wait at least 20 mins for my car. The staff doesn’t direct the cars and it constantly gets backed up into the street because of the all the Uber drivers coming through there. I’m guessing the garage is somewhere not close because if the drawbridge was up it would take even longer. On checkout day I lost my claim tag, so I showed my ID to prove that my name matched what was on the tag and it took them like 10 mins to figure that out. That part was a disaster. My advice, don’t drive or park somewhere else on your own nearby.

A lot of the service issues I experienced seemed to be more with the JW Marriott staff rather than Hotel Beaux Arts itself. I’d be willing to give the hotel another stay but I don’t feel like I got what I paid for. They definitely need to start thinking about renovating the rooms and bringing the standards back up.

Pretty disappointed. Came with my husband and my daughter and we stayed in a suite. Check in took a long time, room wasn’t ready until 3pm and my poor daughter was exhausted and cranky. Everything is an extra charge- internet, breakfast etc. You can’t even take a towel from the pool to the room, even if you are running right back. I was stopped and told to change back into my clothes even though I just wanted to get a book from the room. Room keys didn’t work and had to keep getting them reset (picture is of the unmanned pool desk waiting for them to help let me in after key stopped working for 3rd time). Suite was dingy and furniture stained. Mini bar charges you if you even touch the items so you can’t just use as a regular fridge because there’s no place to put your own water etc. Just a miserable experience. Don’t come.

Simply not impressed. Spend the extra money for luxury and arrive to an empty (unstocked) mini bar (not even a bottle or wine opener for the drinks we had to purchase at Whole Foods), two towels, front desk that doesn't answer when you call.

Please save your money. Let our disappointment help you out. Message me so I can personally tell you how mediocre this place is.

The hotel, property and room exceeded all expectations. The private check in on the 39th floor felt very exclusive. Zhanna checked us in and she was very thorough and knowledgeable. Check in was a breeze. The room was spotless and offered some amazing view of the Miami cityscape. Aldo made us great drinks in the lounge area and was very delightful to chat with. The hotels elevated services and amenities were well worth the price. My only complaint was the basketball court had to be rented at a very high fee. I wish guests were allowed to get a light shoot around in without such a high fee.

The Beaux Arts is above the Marquis Miami. It’s basically the expensive rooms of the hotel below, with its own check in desk. There is a shop in the Marquis that sells clothes but I am not 100% sure on beach ware. There are some other shops within 5 minutes walk of the hotel.

Given the amenities are shared with the JW, is the pool spacious or is it crowded?
Answer from HenryGb_AR

The pool is external, on a side terrace, on the 19th floor, relatively wide, but after 3/4 pm it suffers from the shadow of the buildings surrounding the JW. In my opinion it is not one of the best pools I know in Miami. In my last stay, there were very few people despite the fact that the days were warm and sunny.
