Sometimes you get in so late that room service is the only option, and we made the mistake of ordering that at Hotel Beaux Arts this month. Delivered late - our dry chicken, soggy fries, and a Caesar salad with "jumbo shrimp" that were size of quarter and tasteless as if they came from a can. Love the property, but room service has to be at least passable and this wasn't even close.

We took the room on higher floors, the view was beautiful, the room was clean, bed very comfortable and all the toiletries smelled wonderful. A bit chilly inside, but maybe we just didn't find a way to make it a more comfortable temperature. On the cons side - messy and slow valet service, they don't have much space near the entrance, so it gets chaotic. Our experience was a bit abysmal just because there was some couple a room above shouting and fighting all night about their relationship, making so much noise for so many hours and no one really cared. I didn't sleep at all. We took the higher floor room because usually these are calmer as there is no noise from the street, but it turned out even worse because of such trashy "neighbors". Also, the hotel has a bit of a stuck-up luxury show off thing going on, they leave better cars of guests for display near the entrance, that's kind of, um, how to put it, pretentious. Well, it is Miami, I know, but still - I don't find it classy.

A fantastic stay made even more wonderful by the incredible staff. Even before I checked in, I knew it would be a great stay when I saw an upgrade to a corner suite. As a Marriott elite, it does make the stay easier when it happens, and makes you feel valued. But honestly what made the stay great were the staff. Specifically Andres at the Concierge Desk, and his staff. From the moment I walked in, they told me they were there to help me however they could, and made it clear that they truly meant it. From offering free breakfast in the restaurant as compensation for no breakfast in the lounge, a food and beverage voucher as a welcome gift (a standard option, but they offered it in addition to points—which they definitely did not have to do—as an apology for the lounge being unavailable for food/drink and the lack of a minibar). When I needed additional coffee in the room, Andres got on it right away, the coffee was there within minutes, and he even called to confirm that it had been delivered. When I checked out and still had work to do, they brought me refreshments as I worked in L'Atelier (the lounge), and made sure that I was taken care of. Regardless of the benefits, compensation, etc., it's the intangibles that make a good stay great. Andres and his team really delivered.

Simply not impressed. Spend the extra money for luxury and arrive to an empty (unstocked) mini bar (not even a bottle or wine opener for the drinks we had to purchase at Whole Foods), two towels, front desk that doesn't answer when you call. Please save your money. Let our disappointment help you out. Message me so I can personally tell you how mediocre this place is.

Ughhh really wanted to leave here with an outstanding review. Went to stay here on a BAECAY with my husband. I have over 15,000 travel agents around the world under my leadership making me the number 1 in the world in my travel industry on the network Marketing side. I’m getting somewhere with this... not a shameful plug. Check in was smooth. It did take us a little bit of time trying to figure out where the 40th floor was in the elevator. We had to get out of it to ask someone. Hubbi and I both missed it..it was on the opposite side of the inside of the elevator. We get to the room.. mind you .. about 5 people on my team referred me so I just KNEW this was about to be everything. The room looked cute upon entering. So I went LIVE on Facebook to do a review. Immediately everyone started inboxing me asking why was I in that particular room.. that I should ask for an upgrade. They said I had a standard room compared to the ones they had. So I sent my husband down to ask and they gave him prices to upgrade. A few of my team said no coach.. sent copies of their free upgrade. Being in the travel industry I do realize that you can’t always get an upgrade so I said hey.. whatever..I was ready to enjoy the room. Our view was meh.. condos and construction .. we could see a sliver of the water each direction. There was hair .. yes hair on the wall in the bathroom. I really expected much more to be honest. I’m gonna get to the good things at the end.. no worries.. Room service came once during our stay. We kept going to the front desk to ask and they would never come. We asked for extra towels... had to make our way back down to find them ourselves. What was supposed to be relaxing became a chore. I even went to the pool for 3 hours while my husband went to the mall so that they could clean the room. Came back up... nope.. still dirty. We had the clean up sign on And everything. Ok here’s what you really came here for. Cons- Cleaning Service is almost non existent -Bathroom wasn’t squeaky clean -nothing but air in the mini bottle area -Pool and game room closes at 6pm -No sun in the pool area Pros- Beds are comfortable Staff I encountered were friendly The robes were a nice touch and very plush I won’t be going back. We ended up leaving to stay somewhere else bc we just weren’t impressed.
