My recommendation: Pass.

The place pretends to be a hotel and is priced like a 5 stars hotel in Miami, but it is far from being a hotel, it's just an airbnb like condo/apartment.
The condo looks good though, and the building is well maintained but Mint House's service is poor, to say the least, and that's the only reason for this review.

As an example, when we checked in the sofa bed was not made (how do they expect 5 guests to sleep on 2 beds is beyond my understanding). It took me 5 hours (!) to explain that we need a blanket, not just sheets to make the bed, until they understood the request. FYI you need to make the sofa bed yourself, and the reason is: "we don't want to drag the sheets on the floor" (I'm dead serious).
There were quite few other issues we faced but communication with Mint House is by phone, and you have to go through annoying call routing, or by email and wait quite a while for a reply, so eventually we just gave up trying to get any service.

In short, for the price Mint House is charging you better off booking 2 rooms in a 4-5 stars hotel in Brickell or downtown and get proper hotel service, as opposed to trying to get a blanket by email for 5 hours. I wouldn't come back for sure.

Although the contactless check-in was a little cumbersome and not entirely frictionless, the property itself truly compensated for everything. It seems like every detailed imagined was taken care of in the apartment we've got. The electronics, the interior the design, the functionality of the kitchen, softness of the beds. We've enjoyed being in this place very much. Location was pretty good with few supermarket and restaurant options near by, and 5-10min Uber/Lyft to anywhere in town.

The front desk worker on the day we arrived was very rude. I first asked him if we were at The Mint House because nowhere outside or inside did I see the name. It said the Muse, so I wanted to make sure we were at the right address. He looked at me as if I were dumb. The digital communication said we could simply walk up to our room. He rudely told us to stop as we were headed up. The next day, I asked a female worker if the facility had an office where I could use a computer and printer. She acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. I accidently found the computer/printer room located next to the mini mart inside the building. Our kitchen did not have utensils; my husband had to go down to the front desk and ask for some. There were crumbs of fried rice on the coffee table when we finally got into our room. I don't think I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great for longer term stays, absolute chaos if you're planning on just spending a night or two and want something easy. Just be aware there's no identity of the hotel, you blend in with the local apartment (which, is cool if that's what you want!) - the parking situation and valet is super confusing, the valet staff was rude, and there is no specific mint house on-site person to help you if you're confused or have an issue. The staff here cares more about the residents of the apartment than someone staying overnight in mint house, understandably. The units are cool and modern, but the AC unit kept turning off every 30 minutes and the fan light would randomly turn on every hour or so, apparently to keep us on our toes.

Don't order the "room service" menu, it's basically upcharge uber eats and the menu is not accurate - you'll save money just ordering on your own.

Overall it's an awesome idea for a hotel, but 2/10 for execution of the idea, at this specific location. I think you'll find the experiences are very subjective depending on the purpose of your stay. If you choose mint house (yes, at least worth a try), just fully understand the confusing arrival situation and you may have a better experience. Lots of rough edges about the stay.

Don't choose this if you're trying to relax and have an easy getaway, it's better for digital nomads, or people who really like the urban dynamic of a hotel!

Apartment is fine, communication is terrible.
We liked the apartment, even though the 3rd bedroom has an open connection to the living, which is not very private.
Just on communication and service, we were very unhappy.
They don’t answer emails, the service line employees hardly spoke any English, so our charges for the call are immense, the stock we ordered, was charged on our creditcard, but not delivered and so on. We did not get answers on our mails or messages. So we would not recommend this place.

I booked and paid for a 2 Bedroom which was advertised as available, only to receive a call moments before arriving that it’s not available. Was stuck taking 2 1-bedrooms. Then I had no key access, waited in the lobby for a solid hour and no one was on the same page with what unit was mine. Finally was given permission to go to the unit only to have the key pass code not working adding another 20 minutes to the ordeal. Since I was traveling with children all these complications caused inconvenience, not to mention the family was split up for the evening since the room I booked, paid for and had a confirmation for was no longer available. I would have never of booked 2 separate condos.

The leaving room had finger prints on the wall I have photos, the remote battery needed to change, I called nothing was done. The bathroom soap dispenser did not have soap, note was the bathroom clean, which carries most germs. With the location and price, I expected more.

We booked the large two bed apartment and loved it. It was beautifully styled and the amenities were excellent.
As others have said it was noisy on the Saturday night but you are in downtown Miami! The Sunday was quieter.
Would certainly look to stay again.
The only slight issue was had was that we arranged a 45 min later checkout but the cleaner showed up on time, when I explained that the late checkout had been booked she put me on the phone too her manager who was quite rude and asked me to hurry up and get out ASAP. Clearly not the cleaners fault, but expected her manager to apologise not ask me to hurry up!

We stayed as a family of four (2 adults, 2 children) in a beautiful one bedroom apartment, super clean with all mod cons. Such a convenient location and so central, literally just a step away from Whole Foods Market and local sights like Bayfront Park, shopping and conveniences. The view at night from the apartment was spectacular! The service wasn't intrusive so it felt personal - like a home away from home. Just a slight bit of a mix up with our booking when we arrived, but it was sorted out pretty quickly. So much better than staying in a hotel for the money! Would definitely recommend it to anyone or any family heading down towards Miami beach and surrounding area.

Clean, modern apartment spoiled by a couple of things checking in:

- they sent us the wrong door code so we couldn’t get into the property until we’d contacted them (reception wasn’t able to help) and they’d reset the code.

- reception didn’t give us an elevator key either so we had to go up and down between reception and our room a bunch of times before we were able to access both our floor and our room.

- not enough bed linen was provided, and it took a long time to get more. They say they don’t have any staff at the property overnight (even though reception is meant to be staffed 24/7).
