Hello my name is Monique J. Me and my family stayed here at the aka Brickell hotel, at the time of check in to the time of check out, Chris M. Was the best, very friendly, funny great customer service, and very accommodating to her guests!!! That's what I look for when I'm traveling and spending my time and money in an establishment!! I really did enjoy our stay and Chris made it even extra special!!! We stayed in this same hotel when it was the Conrad hotel, now we're back at the aka Brickell hotel and we'll be back to visit the newly renovated aka Brickell hotel!!! Check it out I grantee that you want be disappointed!!!
Spent a couple of nights here for a business trip, and enjoyed the room, customer service, and amenities! My room was spacious & the view overlooking the Bay was majestic. The pool was a good size, and perfect for a morning workout. Nativo Kitchen + Bar was great for food & served as my office for a few work calls! Thank you Alisa for accommodating me for both check in & out
5 Star Hotel but lacks real quality for that, Significant building going on within the building, have to travel to the 25th Floor Lobby to then go down to your required floor after you change lift to the other side of the building. Very noisy with building work when we stayed there Saturday night gone. Room had quite a lot of dust, Tip: Dont just clean what you can see in front of you, dust on the top of the units at the press door, bed frame also. Expected more from the venue at the cost of it and as its a 5 Star : Valet service really is the only option with a car, not worth paying to park by the hour. The valet service was good. Pool: Nice but no jacuzzi bubbles functioning at the time. After you leave the reception and go to the Lift, the temporary floor, is very bouncy and uneven, not what you expect from that quality of a hotel. Gym: Good quality equipment and clean room but the spa was closed or unattended anyway. Expect more from a 5 star hotel especially the issue with the lifts, hopefully that is just temporary but should advise customers when booking that their will be significant noise from the reonovations or whatever was going on.…
I LOVE attending AKA's weekend Yoga classes... I always leave feeling recharged! Loreto is a great instructor! She cares about her students and always corrects your form when needed. She makes the classes dynamic and always switches it up so we can focus on different areas. AND the location is perfect, great views and peaceful!! Even the staff that leads you up to the rooftop are always welcoming and cheerful!
1. There is no lobby on the 1st floor 2. Lobby is on 25th floor (no kidding) 3. To get to your room you must take 2 elevators 4. Pool is in another building 4. Hotel feels more like an office building or long stay suite 5. What's to like? a. Free champagne every day b. nice pool & c free yoga on Saturday and Sunday
The hotel is situated in the Financial district of Miami. Strange layout, check in ground floor then up to floor 25 then across a passageway and down in lift to floor seventeen. Large room with ensuite, large kinsize and sofa and chairs. Fridge and coffee making set in room and complimentary water. View out towards some trees , high rise buildings and metromover Roof top pool , down back to ground floor, outside into another building. Large pool and jacuzzi. We had breakfast from a cafe on 2nd floor of this building. Much cheaper than hotel. Did omelette, smoothies, croissants etc and good coffee Hotel is very near metromover which provides free travel to many areas in miami and is connected to the metro rail which goes direct to airport
The hotel was under renovation and they didn’t tell us that at the time of booking. We had to take two elevators to get to our room each time. There was no gym, no hotel bar and no restaurant which the website states they have it’s false advertising and booking.com didn’t even bother contacting me after I wrote to them to try and get a partial refund since we didn’t get what was shown in their website. Terrible stay away and go to the JW Marriott down the street.
I jst want to let aka know that my experience at nkb was absolutely the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant .rekey was absolutely amazing he was so amazing welcoming down to earth very great individual. He was absolutely amazing as long as rekey is there u can count me in
Stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise. We waited over an hour to check in. Two people on the desk. One kept leaving his post to pour sparkling wine to those waiting while the bellman stood around doing nothing. Our room was on the 19th floor. To get to it you have to take the lobby elevator to the 25th floor, get off and walk around the corridor to a 2nd bank of elevators and take one down to the 19th floor. Repeat the process going out of your room. Crazy and frustrating. The room itself was very nice with a view of the water but would not stay here again.
Upon arrival on Friday night, asked for and was granted an upgrade to a room with a bay view at no charge! Room is modern with a large bathroom (8.5' x 9.5' with tub and separate shower). Daily cleaning is provided without needing to ask. The pool is maybe 22m so nearly lap length. The sun is blocked by other high-rises from 1pm -3pm but shines brightly before and after. The gym has dumbells, treadmills, and some machines for leg curl and extension, lat pull downs, etc al. So, an adequate hotel gym. Location is only a few blocks from the center of the action at 9th and Miami and 1 block away from the destination restaurant LPM.
