I spent two nights at this hotel on business. The entire service from front desk, security, room service and especially operator was rude, condescending and arrogant. I was told they used to have five operators now they have one, because no one wants to work! It is to bad because property is nice, but the Marriott brand is being brought down because of this hotel. They need to remember a hotel is just bricks and mortar it is the PEOPLE that make the stay special. I have worked in hotels for thirty years and I have a clear understanding I am very flexible and patient but this hotel truly missed customer service on all marks!!!
I recently stayed with my family. The staff was friendly & helpful. The hotel is in a great location and has wonderful water & city views. We left a laptop in the room when we checked out and I called Loss Prevention a couple days later. They had the laptop and were kind enough to ship it back to me. Looking forward to planning another stay.
We were impressed with the food and beverage staff at this hotel. We have someone with a gluten intolerance in our family. Matthew Blair and his team were very accommodating and fixed special meals just for us.
My daughter recently coordinated her entire Senior's class prom at this property and thanks to the support, assistance, and guidance of Melissa Herrera, the event planner, it was a total success! She was very helpful and patient in helping my daughter in every step of the way. In addition, Wesley Zeno, the Banquet Manager and his staff were extremely accommodating to ensure that the kids were safe and having a good time. As a hotelier myself, I know the challenges that we in the industry have endured during the pandemic and understand the challenges of running operations with a skeleton crew, but everyone from Jose, the bellman, to Melissa, to Wesley and his staff could not be friendlier, more welcoming, and more attentive...they made us feel as if the operation was running at full staff and service and support was obviously their number one concern. Will definitely work with them again in the future, and refer this property to anyone in the area. Thanks again Jose, Melissa, and Wesley. Truly a pleasure. Rosy…
I first want to say this location is one of my favorites in Miami. It’s clean it’s in the perfect location and all of the staff at this location is amazing. Jose Perez greeted me and my family every day he made our stay so pleasant. Lilieth Fox Greeted us at the front desk and that she checked us in and that she made that process so pleasant. Her energy is amazing and because of these two I will definitely be returning all year. Ingris Savinon, Lilieth Fox, Jose Perez thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made our stay so pleasant I will never forget you all. Thank you so much.
