Visited the hotel with family for Christmas break (Dec 20th thru Dec 30). Our family had two separate condo. Ours was a three bedroom condo ( room 1941 ) and my parents had a two bedroom condo ( room 2332 ). Ours was very old with many broken/near broken furnishings. Kitchen had many cabinets that would not close fully and/or needed to be pulled open using a lot of force. The refrigerator had lights that did not work and looked very old and dirty. Master bathroom had several cabinets that were worn out and the shower controls were wobbling to the point of almost falling off. The flooring throughout the entire condo ( including bathrooms ) needs a total replacement as it has many missing/broken tiles. Even the front door needed and good hard push to open and nice strong pull to close. Balcony area the same, old , over used furniture and chairs. The housekeeping was also a huge mess. Over our 10 day stay, housekeeping came three time. All three were because I initiated by calling the front desk. The first time I called I made 4 calls and took a good 3 1/2 hours maybe 4 hours. Every time I would need to make a minimum of three calls and about 4 hours to get housekeeping to come. That was the easiest and fastest they came. The last time I called , starting at 9am and called every 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours until 8pm. And when someone showed up, it was just 1 guy that clearly was not from housekeeping. Only took the trash and towels and left new towels. During our trip, a nice cold Canadian Winter wind came to Miami and it got as low as 50 degrees. Hotel heat did not work. They tried to fix and explained to me that in Miami heating is not a thing and honestly that made sense and I was ok with that. The tech brought up three small space heaters for us which was very nice. Unfortunately when you would plug two in, the fuse to the condo would turn off, cutting the power. Fuse box in kitchen , easy enough to reset, just another thing that made this hotel a 1 star. However and by far, the worst part of this hotel was the cockroaches. While my parents condo (2332) was in much better shape than ours and by much I really mean much. Almost like being in a totally different hotel altogether. Both had cockroaches. Total turn off. I can deal with broken s**t , I can deal with fuse boxes and with old room but the cockroaches in 2022 in America is totally unacceptable. Both my parents and I spoke to management, separately since they saw their first cockroach before ours. They were offered nothing but apology. The hotel manager spoke to the condo manager and offered me 10% off of two nights( still nothing so far though) for sleeping with cockroaches. As of today neither my room nor my parents room have revived anything from Hilton for having cockroaches. They did email an apology after I filled out their survey but no compensation what so ever. This hotel is part of a Residential Condo. I have never seen so many dogs before. Seemed like most of the residents there have a dog, as they will be walking them in and out all day long. One day , a mobile veterinarian van was parked outside. I have been a Hilton Honor member for many years and whenever I travel I look for a Hilton property. I have stayed at Hilton’s all over the world and this one is by far the worst.

My girlfriend and I traveled from the west coast of Florida to spend my birthday in Miami. Upon reviewing my booking it appeared something went wrong. When I called the hotel I was greeted by a friendly voice, by the name of Michelle (at the front desk). She was able to quickly identify my panic, understand the issue and in short order resolve something that would have truly made the trip much less enjoyable. After fixing the room we ended up meeting Michelle again at check-in where she quickly greeted us with a warm friendly attitude (but did not know it was her yet). When I asked her name she said “Michelle”. I reminded her that she helped me on the phone and thanked her again, to which she shared a note from our call. After 2-3 hours in a busy hotel that is also hosting a wedding today, my gf and I were VERY impressed at her memory. She also asked: “please remind me, I know we’re celebrating an event, what is your special occasion” to which I reminded her it was my birthday. She excused herself for a moment and returned with a nice bottle of wine as a welcome fixed in addition to the cookies at the front desk. While we aren’t drinking at the moment the gesture was truly exceptional in our eyes. I travel frequently for work. I spend 113 nights in hotels for work and 25 for vacations in 2022. This is some of the best and most thoughtful service I’ve received. Not sure if she’ll see this but if so, THANK YOU for making our stay special. We look forward to visiting again!

My boyfriend and stayed here for the weekend and Michelle at the front desk was amazing! We had an issue with our booking so we called the hotel and Michelle took care of it swiftly without issue. Upon check-in, we mentioned that it had been my boyfriends birthday the day prior and she went out of her way to make our stay special. She is one of a kind!!

I was somewhat skeptical to reserve a room here based on some of the online reviews, however, I am really happy that I gave the hotel a chance. I was traveling with my spouse and our 4 year old son, and we were looking for a nice place to stay before and after a Disney cruise. The hotel was very appealing due to it's proximity to the cruise port, on-site restaurants, and nearby park. During our first two-night stay, we were offered a discounted upgrade to a larger suite. We were assigned a spacious, 4 bedroom unit on the "condo" side of the hotel. This unit had not only a magnificent view of the bay, but was also well equipped with many of the amenities of home such as a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. Our son very much enjoyed the large soaking tub at bath time! We did visit several of the on-site restaurants, as well as room-service for our meals. Gauchitos. Primo's, and 8 1/2 Caffe all served delicious, fresh meals. In addition, there was a juice/smoothie store and tobacconist with a decent cigar selection on-site as well. We spent some time at the spacious pool and hot-tub area as well. We did need to bring our own towels from the room or front desk. On our departure day for the cruise, we were able to return our rental car at the hotel, and take the hotel shuttle to the cruise terminal ($10/person). This made for a quick and easy departure as the terminal was about a 15 minute ride away with traffic. After our cruise, we stayed at the hotel again. I was surprised that they were able to try to accommodate an extra-early check-in (10:30 am). There was some miscommunication between housekeeping and the front desk however, and the room assigned had not been cleaned yet. There was a slight delay in getting us into a new room, however, but the staff was very apologetic and did everything they could to make it right as soon as possible. Our interactions with the front desk staff (Ada, Lisa, Robert, and another gentleman) in person as through their text message application were courteous, and we genuinely felt that any questions or concerns we had were addressed politely and promptly. We were pleased with the suite we were moved to, and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon and evening before our return flight. We would certainly stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

We stayed for 5 nights and were upgraded to a bayside room! The view was incredible and the rooms were very spacious. The hotel is a little tired and could do with some upgrades but overall it worked very well for us! We had a large balcony overlooking the bay and the pool is really large and you can swim lengths and there are four hot tubs that are shared with the apartment complex next door. Was never more than 8-10 people using the area the whole time we were there. The free metro mover is a couple of minutes walk and takes you directly to Brickell and Bayside! Gold members get $15 credit a day for up to two people that can be used on breakfast at Gauchito’s steakhouse down in the small mall under the building. Overall I would recommend this hotel as it had all the elements important to us but like I say it could do with a little updating as the paint was coming off the balcony railings etc. It also had a fridge and a microwave and there is a Publix across the street for essentials! Also had a great gym with a lot of equipment and was very quiet every time I visited!

Rude staff and they tried to download grade us. Paid for a king bay view and we were given a closet saying they were not available. Ignorant staff went to back room only to pretend to speak to her boss before we got what we paid for initially. Long wait of over an hour before we settled in.staff didn't give us the time of dsy after that..laundry machine on 7th floor all broken..carpets smell like cheap motels..hallways cold etc..not the Hilton way that's for sure..time to move up and on..

We stayed in a grand suite with bay views for 3 nights, the room was amazing, very clean, modern and well looked after. We used our Hilton Honors Gold food and beverage credit in two of the restaurants in the mall attached to the hotel. The food was super. There is a Publics supermarket a few minutes walk away, which was really handy and it is also only a few minutes walk to the Metro Mover which is a free elevated train and goes directly to Bayside Marketplace.

I stayed two nights on business. The morning after the first night, I discovered the shower faucet was broken, meaning no water. I had to leave early for a day of meetings so called the front desk to ask for service. I told the desk I would be gone for the day but they were welcome to enter the room to fix the shower. The desk person said nothing that would indicate this would not be possible. When I returned 9 hours later, there was still no water in the shower. I called again. Front desk said they would send someone from engineering up. I had an hour before I needed to join a dinner gathering and no one showed. When I returned from dinner, still no water. Paying for a hotel is paying for a bed and bathroom. When half that equation doesn't work, the hotel should fix the problem as soon a possible. While I enjoyed the spaciousness of the room, having to bath using the sink is far less than what I expect from any hotel.
