We flew into Miami for our wedding. Due to a flight change we booked 2 nights here before we could get into our Airbnb. The listing makes it look gorgeous. The lobby is, the rooms are not. 1. There is no fridge like it says. 2.There is an additional parking fee of $23 per day that we were not told about nor was it on the website. 3.The bathroom is super outdated, the bathroom door is a pocket door without a real handle and doesn’t even close all the way. The bathroom is not at all like the model room that they use for advertising. 4. The shower barely had any water pressure, honestly not even sure how I’ll be able to thoroughly wash my hair because the water is so poor. The pressure is so poor that the shower doesn’t even want to turn on when pulling on the shower pull, we had to hold it up and wait for it to get a tiny bit of pressure to stay up. 5. There are zero places in the bathroom to hang any sort of clothes. Clean towels were INSIDE the shower. 6. The king size bed in the superior room is not comfy, very springy feeling. We are really disappointed in the cost for such a basic room without the amenities promised and hidden costs. Upon check in another woman had checked in this afternoon and had to ask for another room because her room was dirty and the shower didn’t work for her either and she said the faucet would come off the wall trying to turn it on. Ours is very close to doing the same.…
The hotel is conveniently located near the airport. Shuttle service is good. Pool outside and amenities are a 10 min walk from the hotel. No wonder the airline staff stay here as well. Breakfast was not included so it could add to your cost. Overall a good place to stay
I was not sure what to expect as some reviews were less than desirable. It was an awesome hotel! Very beautiful lobby and nice rooms. Had a maintence issue which was resolved promptly. Wonderful drink at bar. Staff courteous and helpful. Great shuttle service to airport. Only down side was noise from planes but was minor. Wish I would have had more than one night stay. Will be my new go to place to stay
Easy to get to, rooms are nice enough, quite spacious. Bathroom could use an update but wasn't bad. Restaurant (breakfast) was quite nice, and the bar & pool make for a good hangout spot. It's an airport hotel so it won't blow your socks off, but again, no complaints. Was in a room with a king bed (great mattress), on a higher floor facing the parking lot. I will say that the staff at the front desk, bar, and restaurant were all lovely! Worth noting that the hotel currently isn't running room service of any kind, so be aware of that. That said, there are some good options on Uber Eats that can deliver to the hotel.
This has been my second stay here. I enjoy the airport shuttle to the hotel, one less thing to worry about for our trips. Upon arriving we met with Victoria at the front desk, she is really friendly and accommodating, answered all our questions. While waiting to check in we had a drink at the bar, Carlos was our bartender. Very friendly service, we came back several times. Our room was clean and orderly. Only downfall is no room service and nowhere to purchase food drinks in the hotel late at night, we used Uber eats. Or that can be solved with buying snacks earlier around the neighborhood. Would come back a third time. Interested in seeing their Maldives hotel!
