We typically stay with family on South Beach, so this was our first time at a hotel. Most places were insanely expensive, so I was worried that this reasonably-priced place would not be nice. It was perfect! The location is 3 short blocks to the beach and 1/2 block to restaurants. The hotel and rooms are modern, clean, and tastefully...

This accommodation is not deluxe or boutique or fancy or excessive or flashy. And that is not what I wanted or received. Most important for me is a safe and restful lodging experience. Villa Italia provided that. The staff are extremely pleasant, exuding sense of calm especially considering the amped-up (so loud and macho) vibe of the area. Charming courtyard,...

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Villa Italia. We were a group of 10 and everyone was delighted with our two day stay. The rooms are quiet, very clean and beautiful. There is a courtyard where we congregated at every evening. Good restaurants nearby. The staff were the most pleasant and helpful people you could ever wish for. We...

Friendly and helpful staff. Quaint rooms that are bright and clean with enough space to fit our needs. Sweet little outdoor patio for morning breakfast. Just two blocks walking distance to the beach. Great restaurants just a block or two away. Far enough away from the action of South Beach nightlife to be quiet and relaxing, but not too far...

We spent 2 nights here in early November with a couple of friends before visiting Key West and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. It's just on the cusp of the busier areas of South Beach so it was nice and relaxed and quiet. The Hotel was spotlessly clean, our room was light and airy and had everything you required and...

This is a fun little hotel in the SoFi area (South of Fifth Street). It's pretty small, with not much in the way of amenities but you don't need much of any because the entire South Beach area is your amenity. The rooms are spacious and clean, great bathroom with plenty of hot water for a shower. They kind of...

This may be a first, but kudos to the Villa Italia Hotel manager, Daniel Beltran, for his help on cancelling my reservation and making sure I did not incur a one-night penalty. I will definitely stay at the Villa Italia on my next trip to South Beach. I read through so many hotel reviews in the area and not one...

Had an alright time here, seemed clean albeit a lil dusty in our room. Robes were a nice touch. Lightly renovated but done so on the cheap. The sting is the resort fee $14/day to cover the pay TV and WiFi... I mean come on this is a tiny boutique hotel hardly a resort. We selected it because it advertised...

Dear Madam Thank you for your visit and your kind comment. It seems there is a big misunderstanding concerning Resort fee (12.90 dollars) paid every day. It is NOT AT ALL for Wifi or TV. As, the buffet breakfast, please note that TV and WiFi are totally FREE. Of course !! And sorry, I don't understand where did you get...

Our room was very clean and quiet. Villa Itialia is a small hotel with few rooms, very quiet and close to the beach. A bus stop is just in front of the entrance. Martha was very kind and helpful to help us in our trip. It's the perfect hotel in South Beach.
